my rune ber disappear ???

today i trade a ber rune .
i put it in my stach , and i continue to play with friends on differents games.
after +- 1h30 i open my stach to take something and bad surprise my ber rune has disappear ...

then i will know if it is a bug or a ****ing hack ? i play on closed realm because there a no hack but (if it is a hack) it is the second i see...)
i hate play many time to drop a good things and after loose it because of stupid hackers who don't have patience of play ...

It was probably a duped rune that got deleted. You most likely just had bad timing.

Or, it could have possibly been a rollback (blizz recets the server back some amount of time). However, then you would probably also have the item you traded for the ber back.

The one who trade you a ber may not be a hacker in the sense that he may not know for a fact that the ber is a dupe. No one in this trade forum can say as a fact that the high runes they trade you is legit unless they swear to all forum members he found them himself.

Trading high runes, no matter on this forum or not, always bears the risk that the runes are duped. The thing is that over 95% of the high runes are duped themselves undoubtedly anyway, no matter who now holds them. Unless you traded with a very reputable forum members swearing to you that he found it himself instead of from trading.....

if i do runeword with dupe , if blizzard find it ,they del the rune or all the runeword ? and if they del the rune , the runeword is broken ?

exemple : if my jah rune is dupe, they find it , if they del jah , enigma is broken and i cannot put a new jah because the word is jahithber and not ithberjah ??


i thinks i have enigma only when i drop jah and ber myself :( in a long time and with many patience :)

The jah gets deleted, the runeword's name changes to ith, the armor loses it's jah bonus. The armor then gets deleted when you exit the game.

Where did you get this information? Everything I've read indicates that items in sockets no longer have individual IDs.

Few months ago there was lots of reports from users that they lost their runewords the way that Suo described it. But I haven't read anything about it lately so I don't know if Blizzard has done something to prevent complete runewords to "break" and vanish...
