Is the IK set and endgame set?

From looking at the stats of the IK Maul, it doesn't seem to do that much damage. Is it an endgame set? What build is it best for? Might be good for WW because of that magic damage.

i love ik full set. it's one set where u dont die so long as you hit, except for the iron maiden.

its fine for endgame...its just not good for pvp. the wide variety of damage is very good for pvm.

yes IK set is an endgame set,the maul is a dark horse,its got40% cb,1.8 k ele dmg.It just the range which is a drawback,but it is a well rounded set.

Topaz the helmet only.U need ias in the maul (30% more) to hit the last ww bp,u can get their by either two ias jewels or shaels or combo of both.

Check out the IK pvm guide stickeyed in the builds thread.Towards the end of the thread (pg2) I have posted the skill/stats of my ik ww barb,check out the links for a peek at how much ar/dmg/def/life u can get.

And make a pure ww barb,the set works best with ww,with all the cb,ele dmg ar & defense.

and please dont say that again..IK barbs are more than just viable in hell, they ROCK,they are so much fun than other barbs,though botd barbs dish out more damage.

Its a great PVM set,yes thats the only limitation,dont take him to duels.

WW IK barb is good for crowd control, good against boss monsters, and nothing is immune to him. I use my IK barb for mf too. 2 P topaz in his helm, 1 perfect nagel and a 25%mf ammy. I have huge fun fun fun with him.

I believe the IK set is an excellent set for a first time barb. Good life, a variety of damage, and it's fairly inexpensive. If this is your first barb, give it a whirl! Whirl, Ha! get it. Whirl-whirlwind. Man I kill myself :lol:
