I think we need a random junk thread, In that thread we could post stuff that we have and are willing to give away free. (not a trade thread more like a share thread)

People can post items they have found which have no trade value but are too nice to throw away or sell....

for example .... I found a blue pally sheild which has 38% enhanced damage (yes damage) 307 defence and 69 to ar - 118 str req lvl 41.

If there is anyone who can use this they are welcome to it.


Realm: USEAST
Ladder: Yes
Item: Saintly Royal Sheild
LVL: 41
Reqs: 118 str
Fun Stuff: 38% damage / 69% def / 69ar / 307 def


If this is infeasible I can understand - it does give a lot of chances to discriminate based on personal feelings towards the requestor.

Buuuut - As we all know I am an equal opportunity Cy - If anyone wants this sheild let me know.

I like the idea but I would definitly like to be sure that it didnt turn into a begging thread of 'omg i need shako!!11'
Not that the good ppl of this forum would do that, but i can see outsiders coming in to take advantage.

we could make a rule ... no asking for stuff that has not been offered? Or only blues and yellows? Or GIB ALL TO CYZOR?

How about instead of asking for items, people just post what they found and the rest is dealt with through PMs?

sounds fair. Althought there would need to be notice when said item was no longer availible. Good idea.

Other forums have giveaway threads focussing on starter and mid items in particular. No reason it couldn't be done, may grow unweildy.

That could work. I don't know how long the edit button lasts for but I am assuming that stuff would go away pretty fast... so maybe you could just edit your post and say that it's nop longer there?

I like this idea. Mostly because I have a ton of crap and no idea what to do with most of it... oh I know, I'll use it for that unique build I had planned!

Sounds like a good idea to me, i have some random stuff people might want for low or mid characters
