What exactly does leap do? Can you be hit while in the air? Is the stun nerfed in PvP? What can and can't you do with leap? Is it just a slower version of teleport with stun like i thought, or is there much more to it?
Also, pretty much all the same questions about leap attack too.

its actually not a stun, when you land you actually get a knock back effect. Other than that im not sure of the PVP aspects of it.

I know that it gives knockback, but I could have sworn that I read it stuns too...

it doesnt stun, and the knockback radius on leap attack does not work. if it did, it would knock back a half screen of monsters when you landed, maknig leap attack excellent crowd control. knockback of course produces a hit recovery animation, so i suppose you could count that as a stun, although it is only a 1/2 second or so.

Leap produces a knockback effect on all monsters (and players) human-sized and below. When maxed, a repeatedly cast leap will cause all monsters to be knocked back to a little over a screen away or stuck to whatever barrier they hit. It's somewhat difficult to control exactly where all the monsters go, but it's decent crowd control.
Leap attack is different in that the first point is enough to allow you to cover a whole screen when leaping, but there is no knockback effect on landing.
Both leap and leap attack will allow you to be hit while in midair sometimes causing a bug that will make you fall straight to the ground and unable to use that skill until you leave the game and return. There are some rules on what can hit you in midair but I can't recall what they are. I believe things like bone spirit and spear can be leaped over, but things like blizzard can't.

So, projectiles like arrows, fireballs, bonespears, and lightnings can be leaped over. But all area of effect spells that just "drop" or "appear" like meteor, Blizzard, armageddon, etc are still able to hit you?
Also I knew there was no knockback for LA.

Where would I find knockback radius vs lvl information for this skill. In my limited messing around it seems like a good way to knock minions away from windies, in experienced hammerdins out of hammer fields and of course trappers away from traps.

sorry about that, this link works: http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/skills/barbarian-combatskills.shtml#leap
as for leap, it has diminishing returns, so 16 yards is right about as far as you're gonna go, which is the whole screen.

Was that irony or can u really play in 1280*1024?

When you say "whole" screen what do you mean? Because even with leap attack I can get the screen to scroll while I am in the air playing at 800x600.

Well, when I say the whole screen, I'm referring to either screen resolution as they both scroll a little bit. You can only jump a whole screen because you can only jump where you put your mouse. The reason it scrolls is because you can never appear anywhere except in the middle of your screen.

sometimes you can jump more than a screen if you target impassible territory with passable territory close by, for example jumping meph's river. you can jump that river from really far back if you click on the river itself...the game auto pilots you to the opposite shore, perhaps as long as the place you clicked was closer to the opposite than the near shore.
