Dueling Maners Question

hello, i was wondering if it is all right to do LLDs with my lev 40 bone nec who is going to be a high lev duler (marrow, enig, hoto, etc.) or is this in bad taste. The reason i ask is because i am a very slow leveler and like to duel alot, my nec is prety bad in LLDs(crap resist) but i still love it. Thanks 4 your coments.

Depends on your targets. If they are around level 35-40, go for it. Otherwise, you're playing an already very powerful class and throwing in the level advantage is just stupid. If you hostile a level 27 zealot or something, expect them to get a high level to come and try to whoop you good.

My 35 necro is already ridiculously powerful in comparison to others his level so 40 should be absolute murder if made right.

i only hosile people 3-5 levs under me and 10 levs above me, i am aming to be a high ranked nec in the duleing scene though, and this chr wont be LLD for much longer, of to go school prissy clan members who think they are 1337 because they have a prefix attached to their name.

If those are the levels you're going after, it really shouldn't present a problem. What ever happened to "real" low level duelling? I remember there being almost leagues and similiar for low levelers like 18, 24 and similiar marks, I think a clvl 30 necro being the highest.

Real LLDers can be almost any lvl depending on who's counting, i've heard lvl 50s say that they're low lvl duelers (yeah.. riiight...), I normally go up to 39 at most, some people say that only 15 and below is true low level dueling, depends who you ask

I agree with Phyrexial though. Even though you're going to be a low lvl dueler you're going to have trouble finding games with actual low lvls, most games i join called "low lvl duel" or anything to do with low levels rarely has any low levels in it (im talking west/nl/sc here).

If you are a truly good LLDer, you can make your lvl9 kill pretty much anyone less than 25. I used to always go to LLD games, but now they're just turning into pubbies all over again. someone brings in an 80 and starts pissing everybody off, they bring in their big guns, and all of a sudden its a bunch of complaining about who has the bigger axe.

As far as I'm concerned, unless you're less than lvl 30, you don't qualify to be in LLD. After lvl 30 things just go downhill with all of the cookie-cutter skills and uber-equip.

Lvl9 can perhaps kill most under lvl 25 PvM'ers, but PvP versions will tear any lvl9 apart.

No, it is more than possible to make a lvl9 with the right eq, skills, stats, and player-ability to take apart most other builds that are below lvl 25.

But of course, this requires you being insanely skilled and pretty rich to put together all of the best eq available at that level.

I doubt that. On those level they can use better jewels, better charms, better skills, have more stats, more skill points, more life, more damage and not to forget AR advantage.

Even semi decent ~25 PvP char can pack twice damage than lvl9'er.
