PvP Wind druid viable without enigma?

The title speaks for itself but I wonder if a wind druid is any good without engima as I doubt I will get my hands on one for quite a long time as I'm playing ladder.

You should do fine with a Vipermagi. Since you can only duel ladder, I'm sure not that many other people have enigmas yet either.
People seem to be too reliant on runewords now.

for a pvp wind druid without enigma, your damage will not suffer, but you will have to have greater r/w to avoid being hit and your total life will take a solid hit.

A PvP Wind Druid will suffer vs a lot of ranged duelers without an Enigma. Even non-ranged with an Enigma or the ability to teleport will do some heavy damage. Otherwise...there is hope.

As somebody else said, a lot of frw will help out greatly.

enigma is over-rated

being able to use your skills wisely > name lock teleporting and spamming tornadoes that never hit because your enemy walks in circles (try it it works)

mastering tornadoes and some skill in manuevering takes out most characters

Fugitive Alien 2 has a really strong non enigma using pvp wind druid, so it is completely viable (well i think he has an engima on but he never teleports)

Look, things will kill you without enigma. Bone necs, probably enigma windies, trappers for sure, sorcs. You can do okay, but it's not at it's full potential without Enigma.

maybe you've never dueled a good wind druid with no enigma but i have..i was with my bone necro with no enigma also, figured i could own him like the other non enigma chars in the game.but he would dodge all my attacks or they didnt hurt enough and he had tons of frw.since i didnt have cbf his hurricane would make it where i really couldnt run anywhere.should of put on raven but didnt have one lol.he was still good for no enigma and i was very suprised.though hes like the only one ive seen do any good with no enimga.

I kind of equate the Enigma to the Buriza It's pretty sad when you can put an item on any character class and they own. I refuse to use an Enigma but I'm just a purest.

No offense but it doesn't sound like you're top notch dueling material, therefore a wind druid without enigma wouldn't have to be 'good' to beat you. Have you ever considered bone prison?

Well maybe i wasnt the most godly dueler but i was still decent. i beat every other wind druid and non enigma chars pretty easy.that guy was just good and probably had alot of practice dueling with no enigma and fighting ranged chars.i didnt use prison cos i used marrows and no gold or charges left.
