View Full Version : Barry or not Barry?

As I've said I've been away. I entered a pubbie when I moved up to act3 a sin was throwing blades at a zealadin pker, the sin stayed at the edge of town running back in every time the pker came close. I joined in but knew my limits, (this is my first HC for ages). So I threw a molten boulder and set my wolves and raven on him for a laugh, which he promptly killed and i ran back into town. The sin should have known better, and finally got caught by the pally. I then noticed the account name of the pally. btk-baranor. So I asked if it was he, (the famous forum bear), he said "growl". Denied it but after I said it was me Warpig. He sort of owned up. So is Barry still on the forums? I know he went over to the darkside a couple of years ago, (pker). I'm sure he did play on europe. If it was'nt Barry then it still was a good kill. It was lame of the sin to try that old stunt.

i stopped teaching cause i didnt like raising other people's kids and curing them of their bad habits. anywy, yes, that was me, and i did not deny it. I merely jested ;)

the account is a kind of give-away isnt it? ^_^ Warpig, next time do not step outside. My pally was a zealot but if i had made a charger you'd be dead and i dont like killing fellow forum go-ers (except for Toli of course, EVERYONE wants to kill Toli). stupid sin. took me 5 minutes to get her but die she did. and that stupid guy with his level 80's didnt want to fight my mf-bone necro either. boo!

Don't worry I'm not going head to head with any pvp with this character: lvl 23 and his elemental resists consist mostly of 2 chipped diamonds in a large shield. Still just managed "stealth" armour though-heady stuff! Even in the days I could twink a character I was never foolish enough to pit my pvm against pkers or duellers. Stil a little insanity and suicidal behaviour crept in when I saw you toying with the Sin. Managed to pull myself together when you "put down" Rover and Fido and I went over to examine my big chest, (matron!), and pretended that nasty skull and bones wasn't there. I could not believe that Sin kept going for it.

Never got around to pvp as my old comp and internet connection was so poor. May try with my new sparkly computer though. Still need to get some decent stuff. Currently trying a volcano druid read a guide in the strat comp. Seems you can do it untwinked.

Still it was a challenge. I've never known Barry to back down from a fight. Could this be the first?

im not particulary bothered by other people's opinion about me, but for this once, I shall indulge in comments. First of all, I never was challenged to a fight by someone on the forum. So, no, I can't say I ever backed down or accepted a challenge, because no-one ever challenged me.

Secondly, back down? If I run into Crelusion I'll attack if I think I stand even a remote chance. I will not however waste my time in setting up a meetnig with him. There's other things to do like oh clipping my toenails that are far more interesting than fighting some screwup who's pissed because he got kicked out of GAT for being a stealing thief.

Oh, and thirdly, back down, ya, sure, think what you will I dont care. After all, I only attack PvM people, preferably weak, with no gear, standing naked outside down and lagging out.

oh and rueter, its nothing personal to you, its just in general m8 ;)

Well... no matter how big and bad-*** one thinks they are, there's always someone or something bigger and badder. Take the case of one Mr. Dick Cheney. Quite recently, he decided that he would debate one Mr. Bobzilla on the merits of the current administration's foreign policy. Witness below Mr. Bobzilla's response to Mr. Cheney's hyperbole:

http://www.galeanet.com/~cmgalea/albums/FunnyPics/bobzilla_cheney.jpg

When Mr. Bobzilla was asked later what he thought of Mr. Cheney, Bobzilla replied:

"Old, tough and very gamey but the satisfying crunch of his brittle bones and the amusing little screams for mercy made it all worth while."

OMG was that in awful taste or what...I am so insulted for the Cheney family and anyone else with any sense of decency or morality that was subjected to that horrible image .....

I have just one question......

Can he do it again?

Unfortunately, Mr. Cheney has taken to avoiding Bobzilla whenever possible as he knows he's met his match. However, Secretary of Defence Rumsfeld was so infuriated by Cheney's loss to Bobzilla that he called Bobzilla out on the White House Lawn to engage in a bout of fisticuffs...

Bobzilla replied: Bring It On! (http://www.galeanet.com/~cmgalea/albums/FunnyPics/Bobzilla_vs_Rummy.sized.jpg)

Bob is THE cat!

I look at the pictures and my fingers just start twitching with the urge to pet him ... he looks sooooo soft .... *pets the monitor* ..... *stops before anyone at work sees her petting the monitor*

I have never seen a kitty like that before - I am guessing from the book pages you posted he is a bengal kitty? Is he as huge as he seems or is that perspective?

Bob's a pretty big boy. I think the midwestern term is . CORN FED (http://www.galeanet.com/~cmgalea/albums/album02/P7200002.jpg). He's a year and 3 months old and he weighs in at 15 pounds! And yes, he's a Bengal. =)

Yep, he's a Bengal. He was born breech and his tail was injured so they had amputate it when he was only a couple of weeks old. My gf loves meezers. We'll eventually end up with one I think.

He's not fat by any means. However, he's solid muscle and very acrobatic (http://www.galeanet.com/~cmgalea/albums/album19/IMG_1916.sized.jpg). He also has a penchant for jumping on shoulders (http://www.galeanet.com/~cmgalea/albums/album24/P8050039.jpg) when he's of a mind.

I like Bob plenty...he is gorgeous....(course shoulda got the tail thing from the name)...we looked at getting a bengal but they were a tad pricey in our neck of the woods so a siamese it was...at least she is a quiet siamese though very mischievious and frequenlty in hunt and attack hands or naked ankles mode..

Thanks... we love 'ol Bob to death. He' got an amazing personality. Scary smart too. He plays fetch, catch, loves to eat fruit and veggies (he actually was going for the corn.. didn't want the ribs) and loves water. Weird cat but lots 'o fun.

Heheh...you're lucky. Siamese are known to be very very vocal. Bob is actually pretty vocal himself.

Bengals are indeed pretty expensive. We actually got him at a substantial discount because of his tail. Otherwise, I don't think I would have been able to afford to buy him a birthday present for my gf.
