View Full Version : God Mode Hack Confirmed.

Unsupervised

Monday, Aug 1'st was a Sad, sad day in Diablo 2's history. A hack that goes by the name "God Mode" was released, and made public. There has been word that it has existed for much longer than the past 3 days, and used with a very limited ammount of people, primarily on hardcore. But rest-assured, its public now.

The way it works is simple, while at the same time complicated to a point in which I can't understand.

Apparently, it tricks the game files into thinking that you are at Akara, malah, or any other healing NPC's. So, it continuously thinks you are clicking on that, healing yourself every few mili-seconds. This makes for very unfair play.

I plan to get more information as how the program works as soon as me and my friend figure out how it does work, then I will report back.

(No, I don't plan to use it. Hell, I don't play on the realms anymore...)

This was on the community, and I'm pretty damn sure its just pot matrix repacketed w/ a different name so it seems to catch a persons attention more ~_~. Besides there is no true "God Mode" I still kill these morons with my light sorc.

Yeah, apparently two of my friends had different variants of this. I got one of them to send me theirs so i could see how it works, and hopefully give more insight, as I thought this was the early stages of it. It just copies the juvi into your belt slot 1, then keeps using it. I killed him with my light sorc, then got him to rush me another sorc, so I could fix a few problems with my current one. :P

Yes, I would alo like to confirm this hack on USEast realms, was dueling a blizzard sorc the other day wiht my poison necro, (5k dmg over 2 seconds) along with a bone spirit necro and FoH pally. all of us constantly hit her yet her health went up up up as if she had infinite life regen. We did manage to kill her once another sorc came in and we all fired and hit her at once.. THis really ruins duels : (

I've never heard of a godmode hack that messes with the npc healing packet. The one that was made public was the one Unsupervised mentioned - auto duping and drinking of potions from belt.

poison necro, (5k dmg over 2 seconds)

That's pretty darn low.

It's apparently easy to patch.

In fact, the patch method has already been sent in an e-mail to Blizzard. By some hacker who wants it gone. ><

The same hacker that originally created the Hack

Bit annoyed that it got made public apparently.

It's strange how it works, have to really read up on it to understand, but it doesn;t actually dupe the pot. I would explain more, but to be honest I don't fully understand how using the pot with packet27 (which is normally used when IDing items) uses the item but doesn;t make the item poof.

It's all wierd and mad and stuff.

And in case you're wondering how I know this, I researched it. Got annoyed in duelling games with people using it and lieing about how it works, oddly satisfying when you can tell them they're wrong and then explain why

Ahh well, back to BNet to annoy uberleet hax0rs.

i was dueling today, and ressurected this post just to give my experiences. a guy joined my game and 2 others in there said he had this god mode hack. i figured they were full of crap, but hell i wanted to see. and of cource every time i landed a blow on the sorc she healed. every....single.....time...within an instant. but of cource im prepared for hackin noobies so i brought a char with major res + absorb and just tanked her a bit. here was my take on the program. its not really a god mode, but an "autohealer". basically if any damage is taken within an instant the character is healed to full. allways. htis was proven because over 5 minutes that sorc never failed to heal and didnt die no matter what. i had a theory though that all that was neded was enough damage at the right time to kill her before she healed. i brought my fb sorc with the abs and res, and could take her hits pretty well....got in close and slammed her. 2 hits fast enough killed the sorc. then he brought a trapper. so i switched to light absorb, and unfortunately the trapsin needed about 3 hits to die...so....i couldnt hit fast enough when he had fade. fortunately the guy was a complete moron and when trying to tg the game forgot to reset fade. i ran out and dealt him the same as the sorc. now at this point he did die....but used some sorta program to pull the same as selling a quest item to a merchant and dissapeared from the game.
this hack did not appear to be bundled with any sort of autoaim, and if it was he just couldnt use it.
this is a very beatable hack! all that needs to be done is enough damage for a 1 hit kill.
it might be the potion thing....whatever it is it automatically heals you constantly, and is clearly not run by the player as this sorc was teleporting around all over at the same time as healing.

unfortunately to beat it, you need patience, coordination, some hardy chars taking hits, and alot of damage..not easy to get all together if the person with the hack is smart and uses necros/paladins/barbs.

Its just pot matrix "reloaded" w/ a different tag. So it does the same thing as before, only isng different packets & or w/e

What's the point in playing the game if you're invincible? It would seem that the thrill of rushing is gone. If you can just walk into any stage of the game and click on the mouse whilst being blindfolded without difficulty, DII would lose its attraction IMHO.

Whats the point of blaming Durf? Usually because its comical. Thats probably the same exact reason why people use it. They feel powerless in their own minds, so they go and do something that makes them "God like" on a game.
