Don't know if it's a bug or just me

While playing in the us west realm, at times, I couldn't activate my town portal to return to town anymore! It isn't because I don't have enough scrolls or anything of the sort. My inventory is well stocked with them. Plus, if I'm lucky, I could activate my tp again after a while, or it could stay that way for a long time. All this occured on fairly smooth playing, not during lag. Has anyone ever encountered such a prob? Does anyone know of a way to fix or counter it? Also, does anyone know which realm gives off the best play,server and connection performance? Like, us west, us east, europe, asia? Any and all insight and help will be greatly appreciated. This happened to me the other day, except not only could I not tp, I couldn't do anything that involved my right click. After 30 seconds or so I could all of a sudden. It didn't have the look of lag (where everything all of a sudden catches up) but I kind of just blamed it on lag anyways. *shrugs*

Something similar has happened to me as well, it seems every time i'm on my paladin I cannot open a TP using right click (selecting it as a spell) I actually have to open my inventory and click my tome for it to work, I don't know why this is occuring but I have experienced a problem similar to yours.

I have noticed that my right mouse button sometimes becomes unresponsive, especially when using Leap Attack. I don't recall if other skills work when tasked to the rmb. I'm on single player running 1.10,

I'd be interested to know if this is more widespread.

Welcome to the forums, but I'm pretty sure leap/leap attack/and whirl wind are designed with this purpose in mind. So you cannot multitask while using one of these amazing skills i.e Using pots, tps, etc.

I don't mean I can't drink a pot when leaping. I understand I can't do that - I mean that sometimes I can't LA at all when I ought to be able to from a stand still. Sometimes, my right-mouse button ceases to work. I have to exit the game and start again

I've been playing for a couple of years now and this is the first time I've noticed it. The symptoms are similar to what is reported in this thread.

Sounds like lag to me.

The mistake here is that you're expecting certain lag symptoms that aren't always there. Just because nothing jumped around and you didn't run into a black wall doesn't mean it wasn't lag.

The game is designed to present an illusion of smoothness even over high latency networks. This makes it so that it's sometimes easy to see that there is lag, but it's pretty much next to impossible to see that there isn't lag. The game goes out of its way to hide the fact. Things seem perfectly smooth until you hit the one thing it just can't handle until it gets some packets back.

Long story short: Certain things (e.g. "the black wall") indicate there is lag. A lack of these things does NOT indicate there is no lag. So anytime someone says "there was no lag", either they were using a packet sniffer to analyzer network traffic, or they're talking out their a$$, since there's no other way you could know that.

I'm with ichorsting on this, playing SP, sometimes leap attack doesn't work. I haven't tried to see if this is a problem with just the RMB though.

This happens to me often enough, the reason being i have another tomb in my stash, so the hotkey tp is not hooked to one in my inventory, its hooked to one in stash. All i did was take the one out of stash, and drop other one.

You should try this out to see if it makes a difference, you might even want to try taking tps off ur spells totaly, then picking up tomb in your inv then setting up as hotkey. It should work then!

I noticed this bug again the other day. I was in the level with Baal's Minions and suddenly, LA stopped working. I had LA on the RMB, so I tried moving it to the LMB, but that didn't help. In fact, nothing I tried helped, so I logged out of the game. Leap still works, but it's not as good as LA. I guess I'll try limiting my usage of LA until I get to Baal.

BTW, I am fully patched. I even tried a de-install/re-install, but it didn't help. If this persists, I guess I'll have to go back to and earlier version.
