Strafer with freezing arrow as a backup?

I'd like to make a bowazon that uses strafe as a primary attack and FA to deal with physical immunes. Was wondering if someone could post a good skill setup.

I have a WF. how much in penetrate?

If you're using strafe with your WF u r going to need points in penetrate in hell to hit. I would suggest 85% chance to hit or higher. U can check it by putting your mouse cursor on your AR in the chareacter screen. This will dictate how many points u need in penetrate depending on your Dex as well.

I disagree with maxing Penetrate and Valk. I've always done just fine with 10 or less in penetrate and 17 in valk. +skills can help you max your skills and save you precious skill points, and depending on your gear setup, + AR is fairly easy to come by. I've never maxed Penetrate and really never saw the reason to do so, though some folks here do reccomend it.

I'd Pump Pierce and CS instead, and toss in some D/A/E...it can save your hide if you're going the glass cannon route 'cause believe me...no matter how careful you are...at some point, you will get hit.

Just fyi, Eaglehorn is an ideal bow for a Strafer, as it has ITD, which greatly diminishes the need for alot of Penetrate. Good damage, +skill and it's also fairly cheap to get now.
