Arctic's VS Vidala's??

Which is a better starter set for a bowzon? Need opinions.

arctic is better for me, because of low stat requirements and lower level needed

Isenhart or Sigon and a melee weapon is better than either. Isenhart especially is a great starter set, useful for all classes for acts 1-2. Guarantee you will level faster in either of these than the archer sets.

Btw Arctic is 45 str/55 dex, vidala is 50 str/50 dex. Only the lvl req is lower for Arctic, but you won't have the stats at lvl 2 when it becomes available unless you've been hoarding low lvl str/dex charms. (Would take a LOT of them...) But I agree Artic is better since by the time you can wear Vidala, it's outclassed by other, non set gear.

Totally agree, sigons and shop bought jav's / pilums etc will easily see you thru until you stop running normal Baal ~clvl 35-55. Ofc use any rare/magic ones you find, or make the runeword "steel" Tir+El in a melee weapon.

The damage on the bow with full arctics is quite nice and the +50 life is not to shabby either. If you need life leech you can still slap on 2 other sigon pieces. (boots and helm) But the str rq hurt on those pieces without the +10 from Sigons gloves. Gloves are also great for the 30 IAS partial bonus, while arctics belt with 2 rows is not optimal.

But in a contest between Arctic and Vidalas, I take Arctic. GC's with +to dex and str go a good way to help meeting the req.

I only play HC, and I play mostly zons. And there's no danger. Both Isenhart and Sigon make you untouchable until act 3, and relatively safe even then.
