Thanks for all the help you gave me with that barb and sorc. I wish something better would have dropped for your sorc. A person can only use so many viscerants(2), deathbits(3) and kuko's(2).

Also thanks christor for helping me PA those two mules. That makes four characters ready to cash in NM forge ... I gotta get something good in there!

Wing, sorry about last night... I tele'd into a pack of vipers and had to flux, then couldn't squeeze into the pubbie you joined when I got back online.

I did manage to find a decent public game (only one tppk'er... and people in the game were already aware of him, so no cheesy deaths), and got up to level 70 in the little time I had... I probably won't be on tonight, but hopefully I can get through NM in time for some weekend hell-walkin'.

I had a dream last night in which I somehow leveled a new character to 26 in less than five minutes. I vividly remember smacking minotaurs in act 1, and going up a level each time one died. In my dream, my wife was watching, and she was greatly impressed. Then I woke up :( Maybe I'm playing this game too much these days... last time I dreamt about a game was Doom. Good thing there isn't another Doom game coming out any time soon... oh, wait... oh no... geez...

Well im feel like a complete moron. I went up to wal-mart today because its the 3rd(the date at wich doom 3 SHIPS) thinking it should be there. Nope there is a sign that says Doom 3 coming soon (August 4th) *sigh* Then i also realized im gana have to have a parent with me to buy it...Damn mature games and having to be 17 to buy them. Im only one year short why cant they make an acception. well i guess im stuck with you guys for one more day atleast :p.

Thanks to bill for the pa of my sorc. I gatta get her up and running. Now if only i could get my hands on a wizzy. No one seems to want to part with theres for less then a um. And all i can offer rune wise is pul+lum. Hmm maybe i will get lucky on my zons HF(If i can ever get past act 1...damn LI's) and get someting good.*Prays for a gul for a tals armor*

Here are some choices:

1. Blizz / Glacial (FB or Met for backup)

2. Orb / Meteor

3. Pure Orb / Telkns

4. CL / Orb

5. CL / Meteor

6. Enchantress / Orb

7. Melee-Sorc

Pick one and run with it....... :jig:

Of course there are other builds....

My new sorcy is currently lvl 66 and I'm lvling my NM Barb merc - running NM Meph... nothing spectacular... mainly rares... and that means gold for gambling....

I'm prob gonna start a singer soon and prob an enchatress.... so when I get that 2nd D2C... I'll be able to BO my sorc - since Misfit-Horker died...

Well im going to be using the moat trick on mephy quite a bit so i think its either meteor/fball or glacial/blizzard at this point...if i do either of these builds should i even bother also trying to put in energy shield...or would that be a complete waste since i cant lower the ratio with mass points in telek?

eshield probably get u killed....if you wanna use it, just find a +shield orb and use it as your switch b4 u start the run...no need to put pts in it...IMO

Had an enjoyable time last nite... Phil / Mike / Xtor and myself were about to start a NM Baal run and then Xtor realized his pally couldn't get into WSK...

So of we went and took down the Ancients - we ran maybe 3 runs b4 we each had to take care of RL biz....

L8 on, we had a party of about 6 or so... including Bill / Neo / Carlos - 2 friends of Bill - who assisted in a NM PA for Bill / Neo and Carlos... then we proceeded to trounce on Baal for another 3 runs or so...

This morning I get my sorcy revved up... ran a few NM Baals pub which I created, after 3 decent runs - I made it Priv - ran another 4 runs b4 I had to head to work... so after all this I believe my sorcy Frost_EverLast is currently lvl 74...

Morning, Misfits! Yep, last night was fun. Got my sorcy up to level 73, then decided to solo Baal for the quest before heading off to bed. Yucky drop, though.

DFA: right after the small batch of baal runs Wing and Mike and I did last night, I gambled a +3 fire skills amy, so let me know if you still need it. This time, though, yer gonna have to give me that enchant, and not come up with some lame "my wife's home, got to go" blah blah blah :D

Thanks to Louis for helping me out with some cows and meph for my new freezadin. Up to level 25 and cruising along nicely now.

If anyone is planning on anymore nm baal runs, or would like to assist me in killing him for the quest, my hammerdin needs him, I think he is level 68 right now, and ready to start on hell. I found a GA with him, but having never found one before, I need a few levels still before I will have the strength to wear it. On a hammerdin, almost think I'd rather have a Que-Hagens for the fcr, but those extra resists are nice too. If I do switch to the GA, gonna need to make up about 20% fcr from one ring and ammy or circlet, so if anyone runs across an otherwise disposable ring or ammy with some fcr on it, please hold on to it for me.

Busy day here, won't be back to check here until sometime tonight. Have fun and stay safe out there folks.

But if I can get in, I'd definitely like to pick up a few more levels for my sorcy before she gets too serious about hell :) I'll check in when I get on.
I'll prob start the runs around 9PM EST ne how.... that should be a decent time for most folks... run prob last till 11+ dependent on who's still awake....

Yeearrgh - I think squirting chilli sauce up my cats bottom would be grounds for a visit from the local Animal Cruelty Prevention Unit. On top of that I'd probably lose an eye and most of my visible skin :surprise:

I'd like to get in on this tonight as well. Schedule opened up some. I will bring in a blizz-sorc and bo-barb on a second comp. I still need to get them to a5 NM, but they are currently in a3 so it's just a matter of minutes (i'll rush em w/ my necro) to get them there. If it's just my sorc in a game, I'll be walking for sure... but I love company.

As 21:00 hours approached - I finally got home... from shopping with the wife as were walking home, she realized her cellphone was missing... so I run back the way we walked and no sight...

I called her cell from mine, thinking I could find it by hearing the tone... it rang the normal times and got her voicemail...

I tried 2 minutes l8.... and her voicemail answered again....

after the 3rd try - hopelessness, it seemed some1 must have picked it up and shut the phone. :grrr:

So I rush back home, get online and kill the service for her phone...

So the evening didn't start off the best...

Finally logged onto D2... found several Misifts in various games.... we start our NM baal runs...

Joining in the runs were....

Bill, Neo, Ed, Kyle, Walt, Carlos, Kenny and myself... Louis joined us in the beggining but left to go MF... everything was going well... peps were lvlin except for me since I was 75... only lvled once in those runs... around 5 runs in all...

Walt decided to leave after the 4th run and Susan joined us... as we entered WSK 2... and preparing to be BO'd by Bill's barb... Susan's sin ran ahead and was untimely dispatced by a group of Soulkillers... those little midgets from Act-3...

Susan I'm sorry bout the loss of your sin....

yes I still need it. I feel I have to give you something this time though also, so I propose you can have your enchant of course, and you at least take that Fal rune I got off a forge. (I think it was a Fal :p )

Woo, finally got doom 3. Gatta love the new self check out stations. I scanned it and it goes, authorization needed. So some lady comes over, pushes some buttons, and says enter your birthdate. So i just took 1 year off of my bday and put in 06/15/87. And it said thanks you please enter cash debit credit or check. And the lady walked off. :D So if you dont see me on for a few days you know now why.

Well, I had an uneventful night. Didn't get much mf in or did I lvl..... I got 1 from the baal run I hit later on with the misfits.

Sorry to hear about your assin Susan :(

On the bright side I bought a second copy of D2 and can run both computers now. It's nice to use my barb (lvl 29 bo) for my sorc.....gets me just over 1,500 health.....

Not sure when I should start Hell. I wsa really hoping I could find a decent Viper Armor to replace the Stealth I am currently using so my resis wouldn't be to bad. Soon.....meph will drop me what I want...sooon :P

I should be on tonight around 8:30 if ne1 is doing more baal runz... need to get my barb lvl 60 up and running better.

Was wondering if anyone had some armor they might wanna trade, and if so what would you be looking for, for it.

Im looking for something with +1 skills so that pretty much narrows down my choices to

Silks of the Victor,
Sprit Shroud,
or Viper (utter crap % of course, dont care about resists, just want the +1)

I wouldnt even go into the more expesive items as I am pretty poor.

I'm at the start of the 3rd level. The part in the bathroom with the mirror was by far the most terrifying part so far, mostly bacause you never see it coming.

The mirror was scary also, but there are more things like that to come...I just got to alpha labs lvl 4. And its slowly getting more and more scary(didnt think it was possible for it to get more scarry but it has)

The game isn't as great as the critics rave about. There just hasn't been an equally good game in so many years(4 since diablo2 came out right?) that their view has been clouded by all the not so great games.

I really liked it when that thing that looked like an overgrown cat on steriods jumped through that wall and my dad standing behind me was like "OMG WTF IS THAT AHHHHHH" and I was like "uuh... overgrown cat on steriods?"

Well My sorc is going pretty smoothly, in norm baals atm at about lvl 34.
Last night kenny told me about a hot game server, and i happen to get lucky and get the right server on like the 10th try. Well i went afk, and bill showed me how to do the rubber band trick so i wouldnt drop...Well i did. And i guess i droped for a while before i noticed it and the game was gone...I spent about another half hour trying to get the server back with no luck. Morning (Afternoon) Misfits.

Just a quick FYI. The misfit mule has been started back up. I find alot of stuff that I will never use. I will be placing this stuff on the Misfit Mule. Please feel free to ask myself, Trey, Bill or whoever is on for the account and pass. Help yourself to the items.

I can't remember what is on there but I'm guessing that there will be plenty of Mid - Level items such as Tals Masks, LoH, Spiritshrouds, so on and so forth.
