Assin Kicker(DClone Hunter)

My very good Dclone killer, lvl 87 Kickassin is great for clone killing but lacks the Baal Runner ability. Heres my Stats while fully Equipped:

Claws= Bartucs/Jade Talon
Armour= Duress
Helm= Guillimes Face (Ral'd)
Boots= Gorerider Myrmidon Greaves
Gloves= Draculas Grasp
Rings= Raven Frost/ Manald Heal
Amulet=Cats Eye
Belt= Verdungos

Skills:
20 DTalon
20 Venom
20 Fade
20 Weapon Block
1 Blade Shield (Carries CB/OW)
3 Shadow Master

I was thinking of rebuilding this char so she can baal as well as kill DClone.
My ideas consist of:
Trading Jade Talon for Storm Shield
Trading Verdungos for Tgods
Trading Cats Eye for Highlords
Trading Claw Block for Death Sentry
Pump more into Dex, less into Str

Any comments or ideas on skill/equipment change would be a great help.

My assin is at lvl 77 , mine is a kicker also. I have some differences in mine than yours though. One is I use others skills to go with my char. I want to kick ppl's *** literally. My chars name is "Sneek_Peekx" its a now u see me and now u don't.
my char has
Dtalon=20
venom=20
dflight=20
and I'll probably max out fade , and put some into shield. so yeah.

I can think of some minor tweaks, but I'd basically be turning your kicker into mine. :p

I also haven't made a kicker for the sole purpose of Baal running, so I wouldn't know about that. If you really want AR, forget boosting Str and use an Angelic ring/ammy combo with Raven Frost. Combine this with Cloak of Shadows on anything you have trouble hitting. Also, if you want to go with a claw, then use Chaos (if you can afford it). The magic damage and procs are much better than the bonuses from Bartucs.

Trading Jade Talon for Storm Shield - Debatable, there is more than one way to make a kicker
Trading Verdungos for Tgods - Good for Souls
Trading Cats Eye for Highlords - Debatable - I'd go with Angelic and put an IAS jewel in the helm for top speed with Chaos
Trading Claw Block for Death Sentry - Usually a good chocie
Pump more into Dex, less into Str - Don't, not worth it

Well the more dex is ment for optimal blocking with SS. Also this char will be used for DClone killing still, as well as baal running.

Well heres what I would use,

-dual jade talons (for resists)
-shadow dancer
-dracul's grasp
-guilamanes face (always great)
-raven frost
your other equipment should do you fine

*NOTE* this MAY not work for DClone, Im not sure if it will or not, if your having more trouble than you usually do, then just switch the equipment as you had it when you fought DClone. You wont need to fight DClone as much as fighting baal and his minions, unless your strictly a Dclone hunter, and not a leveler.

I don't die during baal runs, I just lack killing speed. So the new Kicker is going Death Sentry to help speed up baal runs with CE.

How expensive do you want to make this kicker? I can think of an awesome setup... but it's kinda spendy. The expensive setup uses Fade (and C/C), the cheaper setup uses BoS and W/S.

The focus of this kicker is on optimizing the kicking capabilities of the kicks themselves, and adding appropriate supporting skills.

20 Dragon Talon
20 Venom
20 Death Sentry
8-15+ Shadow Master - aim for level 17+ after equipment
1-5 BoS - personal aura to use with venom
3 Fire Blast - adds a shot to Death Sentry
1 Dragon Flight
1 Mind Blast
1+ Cloak of Shadows
1 all prereqs

Gear - This is considered standard gear
*pdiamond* Stormshield and *shael* Fleshripper***
Chains of Honor or Duress -- Either works well, but Duress requires more resist equipment elsewhere
*Um* Guilame's Face, Verdungo's Cord
Dracul's, Up'd Gores
Mara's + 2x Raven Frost
Annihilus
Charm Mods - resists, life, attack rating

*** Weapons can very a lot between kickers. Fleshripper is usually the best choice until Stormlash (lvl 82).

10-20 Anni
15 Duress (CoH has an additional 50 resists)
20-30 Mara's
Stormshield - 60 cold, 25 lit
(neg) 70 Hell penalty (after quests)
34-36 Sockets
- Total - 9f, 69c, 34l, 9p minimum and 31f, >75c, 56l, 31p max with good gear (add 50 if using CoH)



That's what I would consider the standard setup. One using Fade would be somewhat similar, but with some huge differences. For PvM, I'd add a couple 100+ AR GC's to suppliment your Attack Rating.

If you want to do C/C, then I'd suggest a different setup, but it will not be as strong. Same applies to Fade. In case you are wondering, this is the "cheap" version using ideal gear.

Hmm, I have never even seen a DClone after quite a bit of playing. Oh Obi Wan tell me your secrets :) I mainly solo. What factors are needed for DClone to spawn and what signifys him spawning? ( i've seen the stone of jordan sold to merchant messages but no other signs)

I trade all of my Anni's of the forums here, havn't been scammed once. Also I've had 3 Clone in one day. I find that having a char that can kill him with ease is a great thing to have.

Having a dclone char does makes sense, i mean seeing as people make pit chars, meph chars, pindle chars etc. whats one more mf char for the ultimate prize?

I sure hope this wasn't directed at the build I posted - mine is one that easily solos the entire game. The original poster was looking for something that could do more than DC, so your rant is a bit out of place and taste. Finally, I think every player should have at least one character that can easily solo the clone, so why not an assassin? - and if you've got an assassin, the kicker is the best choice.

Also, I find that forum Anni trades are generally without scams, though I use different forums for that.
