[EU](L) Lvl 1 in hell?

hi all now i got one some baal runs with my lvl 84 barb and to time there was a lvl 1 player in hell in act 5 how can that be? a bug or a hax or can you buypass the 3 barbs in norm and nm? he/she was only in the game for :scratch: offering items.. an this is ladder!
if i see one more i will make a screen shoot!!

There's 2 ways to do it.

One is to be in the game when someone else gets the quest completion for killing baal, then you get it.

The other way is torush the character through classic D2 which has no act5.

most people do this so they can run a bot but yes it is very easy just to rush a char d2lasic and convert them.

Can you convert a classic char to ladder?

So far all my mules used the "be in the party"-method to get credit for killing baal; it's just a little time consuming since there is no "established infrastructre" for this on bnet: you have zillions of baalrun games, millions of "kill ancients plz", but hardly ever does one find a public "baal 4 quest" game (or, for that matter, people who understand the game and join such a game if they see a lvl 1 and a lvl 70 sitting there --- I've made "baal 4 quest" games with a mule and my playchar, several other lvl 1 chars joined, but no other char...).

The main reason for doing this is to go to hellforge, of course. As a side effect, it's very convinient to be able to mule stuff away without having to make a normal-difficulty game. And you always have a cow-opener... so that's pretty much a great way to work around some of the major flaws in D2.
