Upgrading bug

Hi. I know that there was a bug where if you tried to upgrade a unique armour that was ethereal then it would lose it's ethereal bonus. What I would like to know is has this bug been fixed or is it still around? Specifically on the new ladder.

Hello... I'm just wondering what do you mean by the term "upgrading?" How do you "upgrade" any item, particularly a unique?

The recipe where you can upgrade a normal armour to exceptional with the item + tal + shael + perfect diamond recipe, or the ladder only exceptional item + ko + lem + perfect diamond to make it elite.
