OK !!! SO FAR SINCE I STARTED REPLAYING DIABLO i MADE A BESERKER LEVEL 75 WHO COULDN'T EVEN KILL in hell ...I made a hammerdin who did about 3.5 k damage at level 81 but with crappy stuff and i made a level 73 sorc who as crappy stuff and dies all the time in hell ...she is meteorb
my question is what is the best build for hell if I hardly ever get good stuff ...tks
i would say the hammerdin is the most powerful and easiest build to play with through hell. here's (http://strategy.diabloii.net/news.php?id=502) a good guide.
it's not all that hard. make sure you max blessed hammer, concentration, blessed aim, and vigor. the last two are synergystic(sp?) skills. put the rest into holy shield. get some faster cast gear, preferrably enough to get the breakpoint. i believe it's 75%.

Step 1: Make nightmare Meph runs with your sorc until she found/traded equipment for surviving hell Meph runs.
Step 2: Make hell Meph runs to get equipment for you other characters until your fingers bleed.
Check this thread (http://forums.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=229458) for hints about sorcs with not such a good equipment.
Also try to solve the Hellforge quest in hell mode - either alone or with 100% trustful friends who already solved that quest and won't snatch the one and only rune that drops (no matter how many players have to solve the quest in the game). If you are lucky, you get a nice Ist or Gul rune which will help a lot in getting mf sorc stuff like Shako, Skullders, Occy, WT.
IMO that's the easiest way to get equipment in a "honorable" way. Alternatives are begging, leeching and Ebay, but I guess that's not an issue :uhhuh:
You may want to try the necro summoner build that is item dependant to a degree but shouldn't needing anything too hard to get eq wise that to make him affective ie Rares instead of uniques. It certainly imo the safest build in the game.

tks for the reply guys ...i find this syte to be really usefull ...it's a great bunch of people to bad half of batle net isnt as nice ...
When making a Hammerdin i usually sacrifice 1 point to get redemption.
its great for those times when a super healing pot just wont do any good and your out of Full revīs.
and with some + to all skills items it gets better (duh..)

Yeeup! I slipped and put 2 to redemption, still though, with all the + to skills I have level 12 or so redemption.
second the necro summoner i soloed hell with him also i was able to solo hell with a wind/summoner druid both were very effective. Good luck

hey, it wont screw your character up, just gives him more chance of getting his hp and mana up faster (more radius, more monsters to redempt (?) )
heh.. i hope you werent sarcastic about this post cuz then i might made a fool of myself.. and im trying keeping "making a fool of myself" to 2 a day minimum.

2 a day? Wow, youre near perfect. I make a fool of myself hourly :)

NO, I wasn't actually I am referring to my old ladder Hammerdin who is level 91.
I just got a few mules full of gear from a friend of mine on these forums, including 1 soj and a HOTO and an arachnid mesh as well, so that would toss my redempion to 17 or so. I am at the point where everything I need skill wise is maxed and plus skilled to the high 20/30 range. And I am puting the skill points gained in my leveling to other auras like Sanctuary, meditation, etc. I put one into MED & got a 11 point bonus from + to skills...nice.
I am at the point where all I keep is full rejuves and rarely need them...When I Hell baal run I can tank those souls too...I am LI.
tanking those souls arent that hard.. my pala did that lvl 60 and up with the right eq ;)
all my mules combined i have a hoto, a couple of wfs, 14 sojs i think, ani, gheeds. 40 + 7 % mf charms (some with great mods) skill charms and blabla bla.

You have that much stuff already on ladder?
hell no =) on non ladder, just forgot to write that, i got stuff and characters from 1.07..
