View Full Version : Setting # of Players
I read some of you guys talking about setting the number of players for your mf run games at like 4 or 8 to get more or better drops but Im a bit confused. I thought the drops got better if there were actually more people in the game, not if you are just allowing more people to join. Can someone clear this up for me?? Thanks in advance.

in Single Player it would be typing the command "/players 8" which would make the game think theres 8 players in the game thus you gettin more experience/harder enemies.
Not sure there is a command for Bnet tho, i tried it other day but it didnt recognise it, there would have to be 8 players in the game i guess which would effect your mf

It doesn't work on bnet, there you actually have to have those people in game. Also, it doesn't actually get you better drops, it simply gets you more drops thus naturally getting also more of those better drops. More of everything.
Hiya
Okay I have a question about this...I have seen this on many pages but cant seem to get it to work. I kill a quill rat for 21 exp, then type the code and kill another quill rat, still 21 xp. What do you type exactly after hitting enter since I have seen many things written and nothing seems to work.
players 8
/players 8
"players 8"
"/players 8"
Players 8
well you get the idea...can someone tell me what I type in single player to get this to work. Also, since I am running v1.03.....maybe that is my problem and this little trick wont work on my version?
Thanks

The command only affects monsters that have yet to spawn.
you type in /players8 or /players 8. it doesn't matter if there's a space.
