heres my plan lvl 35 asn
=================
46 skills
(no idea)

18-20 Dtalon (20 if you have +4 skills on combat gear to get 5 kicks, otherwise leave it at 18)
1 Dflight (I use it only to get close to opponents)
5 Venom (You might decide against it since the pvp penatly and resists will make it nill at such low lvl)
10 Weapon block (Get around 50% block against elemental/smite)
1 All other passives/prequisites
1 Wake of Inferno (Can be useful when used right, great at goign against a CS zon since they can't hit you as many times if they are dodging/avoiding}

=================
100 str
25 dex
20 vit
25 ener
(100 extra stat points)
=================

take str to 110 for IK gloves.
Enough dex for max block at your lvl witha shield (This build can go well against melee/casters)
Rest into Vitality

black flail
guillaumes face
mahim oak (is there better)
rattlecage
lance guard
IK belt
IK boots
IK gloves
2x rare melee rings

Use black flail against high hp characters, otherwise use a fast "Strength" runeword weapon. The +20 str on "Strength" is definetly helpful along with 25% crushing blow.
guillaumes face - Make sure to socket it. Ias/pruby/str jewel-gem
rattlecage - Go with Viper Magi armor, resists and +skill will get your BoS toa nice higher lvl.
lance guard - Deadly strike does not work with kicks, so use another shield such as "Rhyme." It has cannot be frozen, 25 resists to all, lots of goodies, preferably in a grim shield.
IK Belt - have string of ears in your stash. It's helpful against high melee dmg duelers.
Ammy - Angelics
Rings - Angelics
Massive Ar bonus, you hit more often = quicker kill.
If you have dtalon at 20, use an SoJ, Viper, and perhaps a claw or gloves that give +2 martial arts to get 5 kicks.

Tiger strike has it's uses but it takes way too long to charge up compared to simply kicking. Read the kicking basics thread above.

few questions:
why weapon block? i wont be using 2 claws

Assn are magekillers by name and definetly by build. Putting 10 into weapon block will make your assn be true to it's name while still effective at melee duels. You could go without, but there will times when you'll face an annoying sorc/bonermancer/caster of some sort and you'll wish you didn't get hit so often by their attacks. Having dual claws on switch will allow you to quickly change to a different battle setup against smite and casters.

If you seriously op for not putting pts into weapon block, or going dual claws against casters, you can put those pts into Shadow master, or into fade for more resists and the dmg reduced bonus. Or spend those pts on a stronger dflight for more dmg and AR.

what weapon to use strength in?

Preferably a 2 socket greater talon or similiar claw with some skill such as bos, wof. The best claws would be those with dragon flight, that will save you 3 skill pts for something else.

no mention of BoS in the skill placement?

I left my BoS at slvl 1. With vipermagi and dual claws with +2 shadow skills, i have slvl 6 BoS.

does IAS affect kicking?

Yes. Reading the above kicking basics thread will provide more information, along with the new ias calc thread.

thanks for the help,

what about malice runeword? And what about screwing sheild and going for 2 claws and just max block?

i was thinking about near mexing weapon block, using black + rhyme as my main and malice + strength as my switch

Malice is okay, but since open wounds dmg is based on your lvl, you won't be doing as much dmg as with strength or black.

You could easily put as many pts as you want into Weapon block as you want, however those pts can be better spent elsewhere.

At lvl 20, WB will be at 57%. That's about 7% more than WB at lvl 10. Worth the pts?

It looks like sound equipment for me. I'm just not sure which claw will be on your left side or if open wounds would work being on your right side.

I would recommend getting 2x +2shadowskills claws on switch, unless you want to buff up at the stash after every duel isntead.
