srry i know there has been like a million posts about this. But i just want to make one thing clear: if im in a hell game and the soj counter appears in my game, does that mean that dclone will eventually walk in that game? Thanks a lot! :bow:

There's no way to know that for sure without hangning out around dclone hunters and figuring out which ip is hot, etc...

If you see the soj counter, wait a little while. If it doesn't count again soon, the chances of dclone walking in the game are pretty slim. However, if you see them selling at a rate around 1 per minute, you'd do well to stay in your game (provided it's Hell difficulty, of course).

Yes and no.

More to the point :

The SOJ counter runs on a server, and from there on all games on that server. It depends on how fast the counter is running, if you only see a message or two and see no more messages for a long period of time, then the DC will likely not spawn.

On the other hand, if you see several messages in rapid sucession, then there is a good chance that he will walk in your game. I would stay in if I saw the counter moving quickly.

btw.. yea i have seen the counter appear several times very fast. But this was before i knew all about dclone so i had no idea what sojs being sold to merchants meant. And i was most likely in a normal or nightmare game 'cause i dont play often so my chars rarely get to hell.

Go to dclone.org (or something) and join dclone.(realm) they will keep count on what count he spawned on. He'll spawn when 75-120 has been sold from when he last spawned.. Even though it might go slow the counter in your game it might be wise to stay, most people dont sell sojs for nothing and perhaps it will be the next hottest game :)

i'm still new to all of this, and i'm learning a lot pretty rapidly, but i do have a question. how does the "selling" of SOJs have anything to do with the dclone spawning? who is selling them? where? why?
