My Merc is an Undead Stygian Doll? WTF?

So, now my merc pulls a fast one, and changes his image to that of an Undead Stygian Doll - he even jumps when he melees, like the original. Luckily his Holy Freeze stays lit.

I am assuming this is a byproduct of the Delirium Helm I gave him - correct?

He looks pretty cool, but lord do I hate those things - totally creeps me out.

Oh, the change only happens once in a while - if it were permanent I'd have to dump him for a cute Rogue.....

Yup, Dilly works on mercs. Though there have been rumors of it not working quite right, I've never had any trouble with it myself (though my testing was limited).

I'm sorry, I'm relatively new to the game. What is a Delirium Helm, and what are the stats/bonuses/etc on it?

While the Delirium effect doesn't do much for a normal character, it works wonders on a merc. The attack and run/walk speed is greatly increased, and maybe so is the damage. I always long for my merc to turn into one of those things.

The merc's effectivness actually changes? I thought they were just messing with me by changing the picture. The little portrait in the upper-right stays the same, and he keeps his freeze aura - just the pic on screen changes.

I'll have to pay closer attention & see if he kills faster...

thats very pimpin that u can have an undead stygian doll as a merc although it only lasts for like 1 min yeah i would imagine he would own when he transforms too bein a lvl 50 delirium skill that rocks
