Hi to everyone.

Do u think it's a worth game to get?

I faced the same question about 2 weeks ago... I wanted to play the game in 800x600 and the additional features which LoD offered. From what I've read, the extra Act is not all that fantastic (it's nice but not really worth the $$). Nonetheless, I've not regretted paying for LoD. It's been great. If you can find it for a good price, I say got for it :)

I think a D2 forum might not be the most reliable place to ask that question, you'll hear only answers like "YES!! Why are you still sitting and not running towards the shop already" from here since we're the nutcases playing the game. I think the fact that the game is so many years old and there's still huge amount of people playing it tells quite a lot. For me, the best spent money on a game ever but like I said, we're not the most objective bunch on this question.

LOL! I'm inclined to agree with Fercil. What would be useful is for some experienced DIIer to list out what features will come with having LoD installed.

By upgrading from D2 to D2:LoD you get atleast:
One new Act.
Two new classes, assassin and druid.
More than double the amount of unique and set items.
Runes and Runewords.
Jewels.
Charms.
Crafted items.
Since most people on bnet play LoD, a lot more people to play with.

from my experiences and what my friend told me (he only plays mostly classic) many chars in LOD are very item dependent unlike classic games. The few exceptions are mf sorcs, hammerdins, and some others. Just some info that i think is pretty interesting. In the end, LOD is definately worth it b/c if all the xtra stuff (runes, runewords, 2 new classes, etc.)

Do u know if u can change your character outfit when creating it? or you're forced to use the same appearance even if u create 3 paladins?

Each character has always the same basic look when created but it will change somewhat depending on what armor, helm, shield and weapon you use to reflect those pieces. But with same equipment those 3 paladins will always look the same, that can't be changed.

Nooooooo, run while you can, and never look back!!!

Don't buy that game, it's gonna ruin your life!

At least be prepared that you are going to spend a lot of time on it probably, and will be totally sucked into the D2 world. Surprisingly enough I still see new people joining the D2 community here, so even though the game is a couple of years old, appearently it still has some kind of edge over newer games.

Although graphic wise may not be that gd as compared to the games nowadays, but the items n how-to-build-up ur characters will always be exciting n addicted. Times passes very fast when u r playing tis game.
1 more thing not mention is the inventory size. Its larger in size than the original D2.

DO NOT buy this game if you have any responsibilities that need your time instead. Once you start you will be hooked, like crack. As you walk down the street you start thinking about, what if I had my sword right now, I would mow down this whole street corner in like 10 sec, leaving a trail of devistation behind me.

I got the game six months ago, and this is by far one of the best games I have ever played. It was the number one reason for me losing my job and droping out of school. Buyer beware, you have been warned.

i've been playing for a few years. You should buy it too and be a good player in the D2 Community.

Ok, I just got into Act2 with my rogur merc.
But now, can I get back to Act1 places and, if it's possible, can I fight
Black Raven or Andariel again?

But can I get back to the Rogue settlement?Yes. When you click a waypoint, there are tabs across the top of the waypoint selection screen. Click the tab of the act you want and its waypoint list is shown.

But can I get back to the Rogue settlement?
Click on the waypoint marker, then on the appropriate tab for the different Acts at the top of the waypoints window.

Secret place? There's a secret place? Are you missing any of the waypoints in Act I? If not, you haven't missed a thing.

*Spoiler Alert!!!!!*******

When I heard about this area It was back when patch 1.03 was out. It's now a commonly run area called the "Secret Cow Level!". It can only be accessed if you kill Diablo (classic) or Baal (LOD).

There is more details here: http://www.diabloii.net/battlenet/secret-cow-level.shtml

Oh.. the moomoo farm. Well, it is secret, I s'pose but I think you may need to complete the whole game first before you can get there.. or am I wrong on that one?

depends on how you define "complete the whole game". All you have to do is complete the difficulty (as above, diablo in classic, Baal in LOD) Then you can open the cow level in that difficulty

It warms an old mans heart to see a new generation of players finding the simple joys of the game.

*Just don't venture over to the OTF until your ready boys... There be trouble there*

Oh and you will be tempted by the dark side (haxxors) but be true to the light and just have fun.
