does facets or any modifiers from items such as ormus robes increase the damage of traps? i heard something that they were counted as minions so the damage doesnt increases but it does in the stats screen.

if im correct, facets dont affect laying down traps, but they do affect firebomb

yep, traps count as minions so facets dont affect their dmg but as said i think they do work with the 1st trap as its not a trap thats place so not a minion.

I can see how maybe the enhanced damage wouldn't work, but do you people mean that even the -res doesn't work? I have heard that it doesn't but I cant bring myself to believe that. As far as I know -res minuses an ammount from an enemies light (or whatever element) resist. That should have nothing to do with the any skills or means of attack.

It's like a Sorceress's Cold Mastery.

It affects her Frozen Orb (or Blizzard if you prefer), but if her Act 3 Merc uses Glacial Spike, no such luck.

that is correct the -res does not affect sentry traps, nor does the +%dmg for that matter
