Never thought it would happen that a runeword would be limited to one class (even White/Memory/Leaf/King's Grace, although going into class-oriented items, could be used by anyone), and then they went and made the Exhile shield...
15% Chance To Cast Level 5 Life Tap On Striking
Level 13-16 Defiance Aura When Equipped (varies)
+2 To Offensive Auras (Paladin Only)
+30% Faster Block Rate
Freezes Target
+220-260% Enhanced Defense (varies)
Replenish Life +7
+5% To Maximum Cold Resist
+5% To Maximum Fire Resist
25% Better Chance Of Getting Magic Items
Repairs 1 Durability in 4 Seconds
and only Paladins can use (Lifetap AND defiance? And Freezes Target (second to last rune, Cham, gives it in *weapons*)? And only Paladins can use? Not fair)
and then you have Chaos...which is just crazy (chances to cast a powerful Sorc spell AND +1 skill so powerful it launched a whole new build? We need one of those!)
So, it would only be proper and follow with the "We even make class-specific runewords with insanely cool mods" suit...wouldn't it be nice to have a Druid-Pelt only runeword? One that would be great enough to replace a Jalal's (perish the thought!)
Seeing what kind of neat stuff they'd put on a Paladin shield, what do you think would be cool to have in a Druid-only runeword? It could be Dol-Ral-Um! (DRUid) Which would give it +7 Replenish Life, +15 Resistances, and 30FR...
Some things I'd like to see:
+15% Fire or Poison or Cold Skill dmg
+1 of any of the following (to be further boosted by +skills): Summon Resist (for summoners), Fire Mastery (hey, they put it on another Paladin shield),
Thunderstorm (Tri-Storm Elemental druids!), and there are other skills I'm sure you could make a cool new build with...Vengeance Werewolves, anyone?
+5 Armegeddon (so we don't have to use 10 skillpoints just to get it for our shifters!)
Some kind of Paladin aura that would help our summons or shifter...like lvl 15-20 Prayer!
I dunno, what do you guys think?
P.S., I wouldn't be against giving Barbarians their own runeword...possibly with +3 Throwing Mastery and 100 charges of level 3 Grim Ward

While the Pelt is a great idea, what is up with the Barb helm?
+3 to *one* mastery? Grim Ward?
Come on, even the lame Demonhorn's Edge is better.
Come to think of it, I think there should be a one-character-class-only runeword for all character classes.
The Sorc orb should only get +1 Sorc Skills, since it already has (or should have) basic +skills.
P.S. The Pelt is too godly for a runeword that uses no rune rarer than Um.
Yeah, I know runes are hard to find, but that's just not what Blizzard does.
If an item has even a remote chance of being good, the next thing you know, it requires Zod and whatnot .... :scratch:

About the barb helm...they stole Werewolf from us!! screw 'em!
do warcries even work in Wolf-form? We can't even use charges while shifted...
Its a werewolf barb, and yes you can use BOs then shift to wolf. I am currently making on and I will have Lvl20 WW and lvl 19Lycan with my prebuff gear (could have 21//20 if I get Arachs).
So really, Im almost exactly like a wolf.

Well the last one would be a little overpowered and I do not think it would be possible because it would probably require nex animations for the bear and wolf to ww around....the first one interests me most followed by the second as a lover of the hunter and huntermentalist.

I remember when they first posted the stats for Botd, egnima, and CTA (it was +18 bo then). We all thought it was a spoof because its so absurdly imbalanced. Then when bliz said it was real we still "knew" they would correct it before the real patch was released so no one still took it seriously.

Don't forget that you can make these pelts in a +3/+3/+3 skill thing. They just beat the crap out of every unique by far, where for example death cleaver can still compete with botd. I agree a little though, should've said overpowered instead of realistic.
Though the "works in shifted form" and "breaks this rule" things are kinda unrealistic ;)

Don't forget exile can come with ED, attack rating and resists.
Most runewords >>>> Uniques. Pretty sure that's how it's supposed to be. On a number scale
Below Norm = 0
Normal = 1
Magical = 2
Rare = 3
Set = 4
Unique = 5
Runewords = 6
So even if Runewords shouldn't be A LOT stronger than uniques, they should be a smidge. Take a look at the runeword armors, I don't think there's any armors that compete except for very specific builds, and then it's close.

GarbadI gave up on that attitude when the patch came along that nerfed telekenisis. When a changes list was released the week before the patch, no-one believed that blizz would do such a thing. They did. Nothing Blizz does to mess up balance/stupidly overpower/nerf suprises me any more...
