Seems pretty sweet, too bad not +2!! :surprise:

Anywho a friend of mine gave this to me. I HATE my kicker so its now up for grabs... not that I got to use it!

I used to play the old ladder and just started the new. So I basically have nothing. I'm starting a sorc so any gear for her would be great. Also, I'd rather spread it around rather than 1 amazing item ect.

Alas there was only Coors Lt at the party, but it was free so no complaints!

It a nice amy...too bad it not plus 2 skills or sorc. But think the reason it not worth a lot is that how many people mf with a assassin.... the str is nice but not as nice as it would be on a sorc.....if I had to guess I think it worth like a UM

All valid points. I agree with all that. I don't know what UM is worth now, but if that is what the community thinks is fair, then I'll go by that. :wave:

So I guess now the question is... what in terms of sorc gear will the value of UM get? :scratch:

People won't give you a lot for it b/c +trap amulets are bette. even a rare +2 trap amulet is better than that. You should keep that amulet and use it to take advantage of the str bug. It's pretty much worthless until you find someone wanting it.

PS: I am having the same problem trading my ethereal Guardian Angel. It is perfect 200% enhanced defence and is perfect for a merc but since the upgrade bug still exists I havn't even gotten one offer for it. I am going to have to use it myself.

It is mostly known when using stormshield. Get a few + str items and put them on to get 156 srt for ss. Then put it on and thats another 35 str so you can take off up to 35 str of the str items you had on. It is used so you can save points and put them in vita/dex if you want. For a character to use SS all they really need is ~100 base str and then put on tgods then like 2 +30 str rings and then ss, then take the rings off and you are wearing ss with base100 str(101 if you don't wear shako).

Ah, thanks, did not realize it's a bug. Seemed like a feature, I think you could do similar things even in D1.

but in D2 i am pretty sure it did not work until 1.10 came out. (Items unequipped if you did not have enough str to use them.

I.E. If i had 85 base strenght, then used charms to go up to 95 str in 1.09, and put on war travelers, i would have 105 strengh with the boots. BUT!! if i took off 1 str worth of charms, the war travs would unequip!!!! so i would go down to 94 str!

Not so in 1.10!
