right now my skill build is
20 strafe
20 valk
4/4/6 d/a/e
4 cs
and the preq skills.
i'm planning on making this char a pit/cow runner(when i get some decent mf gear) or a rusher, and i want to know what skill i should invest in for a second element. i'm looknig at fs, ia, or lf for secondary...but i don't really have any good javs at my immediate disposal, and for fs and ia i don't know if i should go for fa for the ability to stop enemies in their tracks for a few frames, or ia for the ability to do pretty high damage without much investment. right now my amazon is level 60 and her armor is duriels shell, string of ears, ik gloves and the ik boots, naj's circlet, nokozan, manald, and another ring that i need to replace. for bows she has goldstrike, kuro shakaku, cliffkiller, and eaglehorn (which i hear isn't that good for speed.)

Usually, the recommendation would be to have LF on switch, which works fine with a cracked javelin.

Personally I tend to avaoid Hybrids and build either Bowazons OR javazons..but that is just me.

FA is a great skill (and a great mana burner..but you could circumvent that by investing into the damage synergy instead of the actual skill) And use cold sources in charms, rings and ammy to freeze things solid even in hell for quite some time. (each cold charm counts for 1 sec freeze seperately, thats 0.25 sec in hell IIRC)

If you have any chance at all to find a WWS...in my eyes it is the ultimate Strafer bow. 40 res all, can be dual Shael'ed, has DS per char level and can amp.

What I think your build is badly lacking now (and in future) is: Pierce! You need as much as you can get..even more for LF or FA. (and eventually in hell, your chance to hit will drop badly...in which case an Eaglehorn is good for ITD, if you have no other source of AR)

Razortail is the belt of choice to help pierce ;)

FA is the best. You can freeze an entire pack of monsters and then spam them with strafe, while they all just stand there.

Invest in peirce, too, as mentioned already.

Just an afterthought to cold sources:

If you can get hold of any of the following, that have hidden (or open ) freeze durations:

Ravenfrost: 4 sec
Gaze: 4 sec
Eye of Ettlich 2-12.

The latter being one of the really overlooked ammys. A perfect EoE can freeze hell monsters for 3 seconds...add a Raven to that. 4 small cold charms and your FA skills...well..you do the math :)

yeah i know about pierce but as is i plan on getting a buriza pretty soon, and that has 100% pierce..so until i get a better bow or crossbow (i doubt i could afford a better one at this point though....i got the buriza through luck)...and i don't see how pierce helps with ar. isn't it penetrate that gives ar?
