windowed mode, and other stuff

Is there any way to turn the auto-minimze thing off? What I'm talking about is when I run LoD in windowed mode, if I click anywhere outside of the LoD window, it will automatically minimize the LoD window. Can this be prevented?

Also, is there a way to bind a key to automatically exit a game, and boot me to bnet chat?

My third and final question: is there a way to turn off the death animations for all the act bosses?

The outside clicky thing, I don't think one can prevent that.

As for key binding, I doubt it. But is it that hard to press esc-downarrow-enter?

And I wish I knew how to turn off the death animations. I remember there used to be a program called Diablo 2 Accelerator or something, but I don't believe they are updating any more.

Argh...so I'm sol then. I really hate teleporting, accidentally clicking outside of the window, and then alt-tabbing back to find my corpse :)

I seem to remember a program that tweaked some of the gfx options in D2, but I don't know if that is the one you're talking about. Wish I could find it.

It isn't hard to press esc and then up/down, enter, but my game freezes for short periods of time when I do that. I was hoping if I could bind a key for it, maybe that problem could go away? My game freezes anywhere from 2 seconds, to 2 minutes (not exaggerating) when I press esc, and choose save and quit.

2 min, ouch..

Our problems are vaguely similar, my compy irreversibly freezes when I get a quest death animation on Baal, Shenk, and Diablo. It also experiences the same freeze when I spend more than 2 min in a channel.

Actually, you can prevent the auto-minimize, but it's part of a map hack.

its bloody well annoying, youre trying to tp yourself to the corner of the screen because youre getting mobbed but *whoopsie* instead you click on mIRC or somethin, nothing major until you return dead.

I hate windowed mode, too small for my screen/resolution. Only useful for diablo clone, but since i aint got on the server with him on yet... pffft no use to me ;/
