What lvl does my char need to be before I see good item drops?

Presently have lvl 41 druid, what lvl do I need to be before I see some really good item drops? :scratch:

Item drops are not based on your level but on the lvl of the monsters you are killing. iassume you are around the start of Nightmare/end of normal at teh moment. At this stage you should see exceptional items start dropping, ie itesm wit hteh same look as normal items but different names and increased damage/defence over their normal counterparts.

These are the type of items you should be graduating to now, keep an eye out for rare/unique/set exceptionals. By the end of Nightmare/start of hell you can be on the look out for elite items - the upgrade on exceptionals.

Edit: To find the really good to end elites you'll need to be running teh lvl 85 areas in hell (see the list stickied at the top of the page) but that may be a wee way off yet.
