View Full Version : New pvp hacks :(
I'm really getting annoyed with these new hacks.
There's one that turns your screen 95% black but you still take damage. I've never seen this and I've been dueling since 08.
Also, I was playing barb and zerking a sorc (she had tals and lidless from what I could tell) and she would heal to full every time she took damage from anything. I assumed juvies, but she healed way more than 16 times, and when I finally killed her with 2 fast zerks she dropped no pots, and yet she healed again repeatedly after getting body, without going to town. 4+ ppl were attacking her at once and couldn't kill, I finally did with help from a trapsin and nked her, and she would heal full even naked, then said 'go ahead guard me it's a waste of time', and I said you either pot like a noob or hack, to which she replied 'try the latter'.
Dueling seems to be going downhill...just wait til everyone has enigma + heal hack + screenhack or whatever you want to call it. (ladder btw)

Not even close, dueling has been great without all the hacks for all of 1.10.
Definitely has gone uphill since 1.09.

Who cares. I didn't like guided arrow + pierce > all except sorcs who had teleport so they automatically were > all. Wanted to build a good melee character? TOO BAD WW > ALL MELEE. Not in 1.10, and that's nice.
Who cares? I care....and that is good enough for me.

At first, I didn't either, but the more I played, the more I accept them. At least it adds more options. Sure, engima and cta are whacked, but you can always choose not to use them.
I do miss leech a lot though.

true enough and that is what I decide to do....maybe Ill give dueling a try again at some time in the future but for now I am happy not dueling.
Not being able to kill someone legitly (maybe zerk/hammers could do it, that's probably it) is a lot worse than someone using BO.

Hackers on ladder now? That sucks, I was looking forward to some decent duels once I get my new char up.
If hacks like that are made public, we'll just have to make private dueling games and kick the hackers out. Let them PWN each other all day long if they want. One thing for sure, I doubt Blizz will do anything unless it becomes a serious threat to their servers.

After a little research.
The first hack is called 'flash' it has to do with packets, there is flash protection you can get somehow, but it's probably part of a hack.
The second hack is a private godmode that has been out since ladder 1, it dupes a juvie in your belt and uses it whenever you take damage, from what I know.

I'd heard about that second one, basically unless a hit does more than your total hp in one go, you cannot die. The top people on the HC Ladder are using this. It sucks even more for HC, where dieing actually matters. But in dueling its just plain stupid.
I wonder how long it takes hackers/script-kiddies like that to get bored of it and move on? I'd have thought they'd have gotten bored LONG ago, but I guess there's always new blood or something stupid. :rant:

dam... no wonder y there r so many high lvl HC chars... thot they shoulda all died once or so during hell baal runs...
Maybe the Sorc had lvl 55 Energy Shield, where starts to gain a hidden +50% Physical Absorb bonus...

Unfortunately, there has always been, and will always be, hacks for Dueling. Your only chance is to join leagues where certain rules are followed. But I will be honest, you should never be allowed to use a skill or ability that does not specifically belong to your class period. Tele Barbs, ww Assass, just plain dumb lol. If you can't duel with your own class restrictions, then well.., what can I say lol?

There are no class restrictions. Blizz removed them by adding in Cta and enigma etc. Get over it.
You can duel with no boots but that doesn't mean people who use boots are newbs who can't duel.
if you 1 hit killed couldnt they die w/ the juvie hack
poor sorcs..my 09 foh > them ^^

There's always LLD... It seems kinda pointless to hack LLD when you can find better stuff lying on the floor... or just wait 2 levels and get your revenge.

A full damage zerk would kill her, that was the only way I managed, otherwise she healed much faster than I could zerk with 60ias.
It had crossed my mind, but to get that rate of regen (ie, from half life or lower in under a second REPEATEDLY) you'd need like 10 life, and a ton of replenish, and then 5k mana. Not gonna happen.
End is near and soon Diablo2 will turn into Diablo1, an enormous hackfest. NOOO! This can't be!!
At least there arnt 4 socketed ss's and new .10 iths running around

there is a full rejuv hack that keeps drinking one constantly but doesnt use it up. if you have energy shield up, basically, your invincible.
its on hcl but not everyone has it. now though i bet many do.
I'm happy , haven't seen any of those ones in europe. Well but I don't think bliz will let diablo II become a hackers heaven like Diablo I.
If it will become like Diablo I , I just simply quit and go play WoW :clap:
