Meteorb shield preferences for rushing

Hello all. I'm going to be starting forge runs with my friend on the new ladder soon, and I am currently making a meteorb and a hammerdin. They are both about level 45, but I wanted to know what shield to use on meteorb before I get to 73, also this will help me decide if I have to keep saving stats, or use them in vit right now. . .

So I would be using meteorb for normal acts 1-hell act 2 or 3. I would probably bring hammerdin in to kill duriel, then ancients, maybee teleport to meph, or just run there, then hammerdin for the forge.

So I was wondering. .should I use SS or Lidless?

Do I need max block? Or is the FCR/+1 skill good for more damage and teleport speed.

I know this has probably been asked before. .But I just wanted to know.

Also, if you choose other, please tell me which shield, and why.

Alright, you have severeal options, many of which could be good, except your not a psychotic rushing teleporter that got himself to act 3 mephy on his own via pure teleport self rush. I would reccommend either of two shields to you for this rushing sorceres. Mosers blessed circle with 2 perfect diamonds for resists while still maintaining that most kick butt low strength, or a lidless, combined with wizzard spike and some other sources of faster cast (arachnids mesh, faster cast rings with 60+ mana, mage fists ) and you can just tele past everything, and do make sure to have some faster hit recovery ( sandstorm treks for boots and a sheal'ed shako.)

i use a "rhyme" shield for my meteorb rushing sorc....in a troll nest. my choice may be a bit preferential for me though. mainly i use it for the MF, cannot be frozen, and resists...i also use ful tal set and war traves/nagels. i like the MF aspect for my rushing so i can try and get better drops. while i dont normally rush hell games....it can be done with a little help from my ik barb to kill ancients(and council if needed). my merc is also buff as well....and that never hurts. g/l with your rushing.
