Is this just my badluck or something else?

I have a lvl 88 blizz sorc.i have maxed all synergies and have a lvl 16 cold mastery right now.I did a lot of meph runs in nm and got good stuffs like 2X ocy, skullders, g-angel, string of ears, titans etc.i just started doing hell meph runs yesterday night.i did like 20 runs and got nothing.all yeollow stuffs and a couple of low lvl uniques like magefist, kuko etc.so is this my badluck?i have 258 mf right now and i have all resistances 75. i can kill him quickly.

I have one more questions.when i do meph run with my merc, i get uniques and sets.but when i do it alone, i get those crappy yeollow and blue stuffs.but the problem is, my merc is lvl 87 and he cant survive at meph.he is currently wearing shaft, guillam's face and dual amnd bonehew.

Please leave some suggestions.Thanks in advance.

Its your imagination, If you are still getting rares and sets, then the MF is working just not as you would like. Its sounds as if you went thru a good spell, not that just as dried up. Continue to MF and you will begin to find stuff again.

20 runs is nothing. if you do 100+ without results then something is not going good.

Also, if your merc is having a hard time surviving, try finding a wand with charges of life tap, put it on switch, and cast it on mephisto. This should allow your merc to tank like a champ. Only problem is repairing the wand every 20-30 runs can get a bit costly, but if you're selling items from MFing, it shouldn't be much of an issue.
