I can't find one save for the TITAN guide, which seems pretty out there. I wanna make a sorc with max enchant, fire mastery, warmth, light mastery, and cold mastery for rest, then load up on +elem dmg charms - but I don't know what gear to use and what is the most efficient build. Emphasis is on NOT DYING and doing enough dmg to solo in hell (1 player) and/or be a dmging force in a hell baal run (8 player).

I think this should be somewhere in the stickies.
If it isn't, it should (Mod??).

but....but.....TITAN sorcs are soooooo much fun! Easily the most fun character I've ever played on d2....ever. Might just be cause its pretty challenging to make a viable TITAN sorc, and I do so enjoy a good challenge. Anyways, if you're going for the max masteries build, try to get a Kingslayer Cryptic sword or phase blade (some debate as to which is better, phase is faster but cryptic does more damage). With the masteries, your elemental damage will be huge. Using a Kingslayer also means that you absolutely have to have War Travellers for boots - the 15-25 bonus damage means a huge boost in Vengeance damage (the main reason for using kingslayer is vengeance).

However if your emphasis is on NOT DYING, then you're better off with an energy shield/telekinesis build. Max telekinesis first, then put any remaining points into energy shield, and just 1 or 2 in the remaining masteries. Also, since you max warmth with the basic enchantress build, your mana ball will regenerate VERY fast, making you one hell of a tank. Gladiators Bane is the most godly armor you could hope to have with this build - huge defense, FHR, CBF, and the kicker - damage reduction mods. Because of the way energy shield works with damage reduction, on this build, any attack that does less than ~500 damage will not affect your life at all. Makes it quite difficult to die.

Sorry for the double post, but it should be noted that what MongoJerry says about energy shield needs to be disregarded, as he is incorrect.
