OK, Druid OT has been around for....2 or so years now.

Not many people know this but it all started in a thread discussing how certain PKers would use vines and spam them across the screen, creating lag and then swoop in for the easy kill. Of course this thread turned nasty and the quick minds of Baranor, Fenriswulf, Stalin's Evil Twin, (somebody else I thinks) and myself, we decided to talk crap.

Soon, this hate filled thread turned into a conversation about the sexual shape of a dead vine and so on and so forth.

After the Vine thread was halted, new thread was needed to contain all our gibberish and thus spawned Nature's Brownies. NB was a resistance group formed to address the build-up of OT that polluted the Druid Forum but mainly so we looked cool, could talk crap and call ourselves a "resistance group", Anyone and every could join and that rule still applies to this day.

Fighting for recognition and a 500 post count, NB was much loved, except by the Moderators. After numerous lockdowns, a splendid array of creative titles we managed to conquer the 500 post count, reach a 1000-4000 post count (IIRC) and gain true acceptance.

Poll Dancers is the current title and you are now sitting in version 5.5.
The previous was smited by an unknown entity so this poll shall address WHO DID IT!!!???

Lay off the mods, they're good guys and even though I've had my beef with a couple of them at one time or another, most of the current ones are good guys/girls that I like. Like Gaile, I love Gaile. As for the guilty/judging thing. I think it's more important what a person would do now, than what they may have done in the past. Double standards are bad, as is hypocrasy, but you can do something and see the error of your ways and change, then telling others not to do it isn't hypocrasy, but giving them the benefit of your experience.

If you peed on the electric fence, is it hypocritical to tell someone else not to do it? Likewise are you not allowed to call someone stupid for doing the same thing? Sometimes the best people to judge are the ones who have travelled the road themselves.

Still, theres always the religios fall back of "it's God's place to judge (we'll just throw them to the lions to the mean-time)".

PvP he's struggling, but not doing too badly. He fairs ok against casters, but other melee tends to take him down. Other palas seem to b the worst. The Conc barb last night was immpossible too, but I wasn't the only one having trouble with him. I just don't have enough defense, just 5.5k atm, whereas other palas seem to have over 20k. I'm thinking that maybe maxing out defiance and forgoing(sp?) 1.5k max damage might have been a better plan. But we'll see how he turns out once I get some more lvls (82 atm) and hopefully some better gear for him. I may have to rebuild him with Defiance instead of Salvation. He still needs a Demon Limb for enchant too.

Best of all, he is fun :) both in PvM and PvP. Though he'll be more fun in PvP once he stands a chance of winning -vs- other melee ;)

Just checked a Tomb Reaver. I thought all weapons with -110 would hit 4 fpa with the bear. but that wasnt the case. 5 FPA with 120 wias and 50 oias.

Still interesting building a titan werebear around that weapon...

Would indeed be an interesting build and for pvm would be fast enough....50oias is easy enough from gloves and ammy alone you can get 40

okey, metallica is cool, although they were cooler. I tried listening to kill 'em all yesterday, but it gets old pretty fast nowadays.

SoaD is a way more experimental than the usual things you see on MTV, like linkin park and korn. I have only listened to "toxicity" and "Steal this Album" Tox being a bit more balladic while StA was a bit more new, faster and harder to listen to for the mtv metal fanatics.

System of a down is good(have only Toxicity :( ), not something you can listen all day, but it allways puts a smile on my face hearing their political propaganda in the lyrics.

I just went to a Gipsy Kings concert, so I guess no. The guitar work put most shredders to shame, Tonino Bailardo is too good. The bongo player had a 15 minute solo during Djoba Djoba and he started playing with his elbows. Xavier Padilla played a cool solo on his bass, very weird to see how he manages that twisted neck.

Linkin Park sounds alot like those Nu-Metal bands that are mellowing out now. Coheed & Cambira and Mars Volta seem to do a good job following them too. And by sounds like, I am talking about the actually things that can be mimic'ed, not vocal stuff.

Screamers suck. The guy from Slipknot used to scream, he sucked; heard him sing and he was good, WTF? Best screamers is DBZ hands down, too much practice.

in '04 the in game experience is much more realistic (and I think the AI is better) but any time you're not playing (after whistles even) '03 pwns it

replaced the comedic annoucer with a former player, no hitting after the play, generally worse soundtrack

the new fighting is fun...I don't really have the micro skills/patience for dynasty mode though

better checking from the defense...dekes are much easier to lose control off, more realistic face-offs...and the defense actually skates forward o_O

worth the 20$ I had to send to replace my ailing '03

well, if you want to play the season by yourself, I'd suggest waiting and taking a look at '05 first, but if you want to play just with friends/internet (havn't tried the latter yet) then I think it's good enough if you can get cheap...

i felt it was short too, but if you compared it to HT LP you would notice they are about the same length (iirc). I got HT EP, it was actually pretty good.

like what mememe said, i still enjoyed meteora, i was just disapointed that it wasnt as good as HT. The remixes from reanimation were great too IMO, some were amazing, some went down, such as in the end. =/ i think mememe disagrees with me on this one. pushing me away in the 2nd cd is probably my favorite out of the whole set of remixes.

nhl2003 was horrible, 2004 i think was even worse. i think the only nhl one in those series i liked was 2001.

Blade is cool. But don't try watching it when your badly drunk. Too much drink + loud thumpy music + bright flashy lights + lots of spinning camera work == pebble dashed porcelain :(

But its a fun film, and shouldn't be watched as anything more than light entertainment :) I dislike how Blade 2 not only manages to make a mess of itself, but also to **** with the original too :grrr:
