Well, I was over in the barb forum, trying to figure out what kind of barb I should make to use an Eth BOTD Tmaul on. Someone suggested using it on a druid. I don't have much gear for a druid, but I could easily get it. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do for a druid using an Eth BOTD Tmaul?

Practically any Shapeshifter would work wonderfully with that. Since Druids have a fast attack speed (or at least, faster than other classes) with mauls, you'll attack at an increased speed with one of, if not the, most powerful weapons in the game (physical damage-wise). In case you don't know about the Lycanthropic skills, a Werewolf has increased AR and speed, while a Werebear has increased damage and defense. A WW can use Fury, though. It depends on what you're looking for-speed and AR or damage and defense.

Hmm... I'd like to be a pretty fast and effective killer. SO I'd have to say AR and speed. I'm tired of my characters just standing there swinging at the air while I'm getting crushed. Mainly what I'm looking for is a char that can stand well in Hell, possibly give rushes, but still be able to stand up for itself fairly if threatened by some psychotic enraged barb or other char that likes to go hostile against everyone in the world, including their mother, god, friends, family ect.

Current gear I have and could possibly go on my druid.

Helm: Jalal's
Weapon: Eth BOTD Tmaul (Of course)
Rings: Raven, Manald, Carrion, Dwarf, Nagel, the basics
Ammy: Cat's Eye, Highlord, P.maras
Boots: Not much for boots on a druid.. Marrows, Travs.. Sad really.
Gloves: No gloves yet.. Suggestions?
Body Armor: Shaft?

Any gear change suggestions? What should I get? What should I use? What should I get rid of?

Well I'm not an expert on these matters, but...

Helm: Jalal's - excellent
Weapon: EBotD Thunder maul - 9/6/6/6/6 fury with maxed werewolf and +skills
Rings: Raven + Carrion(for the rabies synergy if you use it)
Amulet: Highlords
Boots: Wartravellers if Gores aren't an option...
Gloves: Since you will do PvM and surviving PK's, Draculs are nice...(if you don't have them, Marrowwalk boots have lifetap charges) Bloodfists are fine too.
Armor: Dunno, guess Shaft is allright, Duriels shell has resists though...

I just so happen to have Dur's Shell on one of my char's mercs.. The problem is remembering which one. I just gave a pair of Gores away not too long ago.. I can probably get some more. My friend has an abundance of random gloves, so that shouldn't be a problem. Now the only thing I should have to worry about is the stat and skill placement.

How about...
Strength: 253 - strength from equipment
Dexterity: none or enough for Plague bearer(on switch for rabies)
Vitality: everything else
Energy: none

Skills to max: Lycantrophy, Fury, Rabies and Oak sage and spend points into a) getting a point in Grizzly b) more points in Werewolf c) more points to Feral rage d) something else
Then you would have a powerful Rabies attack(although no -res) and good physical damage and some sustenance.

Gear that I now plan to use (Got it all..)

Eth BOTD Tmaul
Jalal's
Carrion & Raven
Dracul's
Gore Riders
String of Ears
Highlord's
Duriel's Shell

Not too sure about using Oak Sage.. It used to die on me all the time when I used it in the past. And I was thinking of using Feral Rage in place of Rabies due to the speed it would give me.

If you aren't going to use rabies, you can change the carrion for something else if you want. Make sure you have something in store for PI's, like a merc with a reapers toll.

If you don't like Oak sage use HoW, if you aren't sure, search for Oak vs HoW discussions with the search forum option, I bet you'll find a million at least. ;)

So.. Final product:

Gear:

Jalal's
Eth BOTD Tmaul
Duriel's Shell
Dracul's
Gore Riders
Highlord's
Raven
Carrion

Skills:

WW (20)
Lycanthropy (20)
Fury (20)
HoW (20)
Feral Rage (All extra)

Now... For the stat pts:

Str: 194 (Enough for BOTD)
Dex: Base
Vit: All extra go here
Energy: Base

Seem to be a good build?

Edit: In the case where I won't have enough AR, I could always dual Raven Frost.. I have a 233AR Raven that I plan on using for the druid, and I think I have a 223AR on a mule I could throw on him.

Actually if I were going to use that bad boy on anything it'd be a Titan Commandomancer. The skels are great for keeping you alive, and things like act bosses that might run the skels into a bit of trouble can go down in a REAL hurry with amp + whack.

I'm not a huge fan of skeletons though.
