Hi all,

I noticed something...

I just started my first 1.10 Werewolf druid and I have noticed that he seems to be hitting EXTREMELY slow, even though I have a slvl 6 Werewolf, which supposedly gives me 45% IAS.

Now I have played Assassins before w/ level 3 BoS and a sword, which gives comparable speed, and my Werewolf is coming nowhere CLOSE to that.

Also, I have a 6% chance to be hit coming from my armor, yet I seem to be getting hit by melee creatures all of the time and chugging healing potions like no tomorrow.

And, even then, when I use a potion, it doesn't seem to go a long way and I only have about 220 life w/ Lvl 5 Lyc and Lvl 1 OS.

(Character is lvl 12)

For instance, I use a Healing potion and my life bulb only goes up by about a quarter from near-death status.

Do I have some sort of virus, or have I just downloaded a buggy vers. of 1.10 (I downloaded it in March).

I have other sorts of problems as well with other characters such as my tesladin who has 75% chance to block (without Holy Shield) and maxed resists in NM, yet seems to get owned all of the friggin' time and hit by everything, even at players 1!

Also, please keep in mind that I am not online at home, and the only things I downloaded to the comp is ATMA and the 1.10 patch....

It's becoming extremely frustrating to play this game when I am getting owned on normal for odd reasons, and you can't even seem to get anywhere w/o twinking the character, which was my point in creating this WW druid, and my Tesladin.

Reluctantly, I've twinked him out with the Angelic Set and Hsarus set, and he's finally hitting as fast as I think he should be. (But AFTER the 30% IAS from the A. Sickle and 10% IAS from Bloodfist gloves).

So basically, I have around 85% IAS with my WW druid to hit what would be a 30% IAS on another character w/ comparable weapons (aka Barb/Pally/Amazon)...

Any comments on this predicament would be extremely helpful.

At lower levels a ww is very slow indeed but as you level and get more points into the skill and a faster weapon that is where they shine. All I can say is be patient and get the fastest hardest hitting weapon you can afford.

If I calculated right(there's a calculator in the sticky) you should have a 10 frame attack, which, I think, is reasonable speed for a standard attack. Once you reach level 12(thanks vietnam for the correction  ) you have access to feral rage which is a bit faster(8 frames with the angelic setup) and at level 30, fury which would go at 10/6/6/6/6 speed.

The monsters hit you more often probably because you are running around. When you run your defence drops to zero and your block goes to one third of its normal %. If you are really having problems, walk instead of running and the problem should be solved.

Many character classes have a different amount of recovered points from healing and mana potions. Compared to the huge amounts of life a shapeshifting druid can have we get tiny amount of points from healing potions, to remedy this you can drop a point in carrion creeper to recover health for you and keep a few rows of rejuvination potions in your belt for quicker health recovery. Remember to have feral rage active every time you meet mediocre/hard monsters for the boost in life leach, just get one hit with it after every 2 or 3 furies and youll be fresh as a flower through the whole battle.

WW increases attacks speed based on a percentage. If you have no IAS gear, your attack speed will be almost the same as if you were in human form. Once you get a good amount of IAS, you'll notice a large increase in speed. Feral Rage also helps :)
