that's the link to a guide about the overlord necro. But with 1.10 and how they nerfed the # of skeletons you can have, is this build even worth it anymore? I haven't played a stitch of diablo since 1.10 came out, and it's completely foreign to me now

Skelemancer with maxed Skellies, Mages and Skellie Mastery is very viable, but I wouldn't waste my time maxing Revives. One point here is more than enough IMO.

even one point seems kindda of a waste since u have to waste another 2 points in golems that u'll hardly use unless ur planing on having the all mighty monster magnet (fire golem)... but thats only my point of view... i have heard a few good things about revives specially in baal's throne and against baal himself.. but i much rather have my bone-white army hacking and firing @ a monster any day...

To be honest I just use revives for gits and shiggles, but once in a while they can speed things up. Having half-a-dozen maulers on hand with their crushing blow attack can definitely increase your killing speed. More often than not, however, they're more hassle than they're worth.

Heh, baals throne gets kind of easier for my poison nova dude since he casts lower resist on everything... the hydras the revived council members cast actually does quite a lot of damage (4-5 councils with 2 hydras each, plus the effect of lvl 11 lower resist)

The frenzytaurs are my personal favorite, besides councils. Well, any monster that has fast movement, such as undead flayers and their living counterparts.

Will undead flayers hurt monsters when they die at melee range, same way as they hurt me when they die the first time around? And isn't that explotion somehow based on their HPs (posesseds hurt a lot more it seems)? Heh, if they do, and the explosion is HP based and scales up with skeleton mastery, you'd have quite a nice kamikaze-revive?

Oh, yeah... those tomb vipers should make for some nasty revives, if they're still bugged... revive a couple just before taking on baal, and he should shake in his pants.

Revives.... They're too stupid. :P

But, the Tomb Vipers, what is up with those things? Baal can't even kill my skeletons yet I face one Tomb Viper and I'm running away looking for more corpses to resurrect my completely massacred Skeleton army. And then my friend's Barb is like killed in one hit. What's up with those things?!
