I recently scored a Tal Amulet on NL for a Shako, but I didn't notice until I had the whole set that I was missing out on 10% FCR because the amulet is an old version (I'm assuming).

I can never seem to find Sorc tables, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out. With the setup below, would it make a difference to get a newer amulet with the FCR bonus (ie: would I hit another breakpoint, or not)?

Tal's Set with FCR Bonus from Belt and Armor only (total of 20)
Lidless (another 20)

I use two SoJ, Waterwalk, and Frostburn (although I should probably get some Magefist, but that's another story).

So, I am up to 40 FCR with my items...is 10% more worth the risk of trying to get another Tal Amulet? Thanks in advance!

No, don't bother acquiring another Tals Ammy unless you can get to 63%FCR. As I understand adding FCR that doesn't bring you to a break point is next to useless.

No FCR on your Orb?
Magefist with Orb that has FCR would be a good option, or get new Tal's Amulet and Tal's Orb for full Tal's Set.
With Magefist and LIdless that will give 90%FCR.

Breakpoints for Fire/Lightning/Cold Tree:
63% FCR
105% FCR

For Lightning/Chain Lightning:
70% FCR
117% FCR

For Lightning tree:
70% FCR
117% FCR

That doesn't include Teleport, does it?

Good question, but i dont hitnk so, since i have always noticed that i teleport faster when i get above 63% and 105% 8)
The only spells with the different cast rate are Lightning and Chain Lightning, since those were the ones affected by IAS before 1.10.

P.S.: Sorry, my bad about generalizing that for the LIghtning Tree. Ill correct that.

Ok, so I guess I am up to 60% (completely missed the 20% on the orb itself).
So, another 3% would hit a BP for me! Yay! Thanks Mel!
