i know this question has been asked before and answered in regards to body armor and boots on these forums (as i saw from searching). however, i was happy to find a homonculus UNTIL, much to my dismay, it's piddly little 11 durability is unrepairable because it's ETHERAL.
elemental damage doesn't hurt durability, that's been discussed. however, lets say i'm going to use bone armor, and i also want to go for max block...does blocking take away durability from a shield?
thanks...i'd rather not zod a friggen homonculus :P

I'll give ya a couple of pgems for that one as soon as I get my hands on some...I could use a homon and eth doesn't matter to me because I'm a pure vit summoner. Physical attacks shouldn't be hitting me.

That's still a hell of a shield for a 5% block mancer :)
My ladder 1 sorc had an ethereal moser's on her from level 40 to level 73 where she is today, it has lost 2 durability. Just... hope u don't block

He has a good point you should be fine if you keep your bone armor activated (a high level would help) also it depends what kind of necro you are. for example if you are a skelemancer you can proberly keep monsters away from you (and away from hurting you druablity) like i said just keep bone armor on and keep ya eye on your durablity... o and stay out of trouble. but you should b fine
