View Full Version : Ladder Season 2 Pubbies.

I have been late to get into the Ladder pubbies since I'm still working on redoing my MF sorc. Can anyone give me a rough idea of what they are like item wise? My guess is that I should expect to see mainly sorcs that are serving a dual purpose of being a part time dueler and MF sorc. Items wise, I assume the usual gear like Shako, SS, etc have already made it to mass circulation due to botting but I hope that runewords are still scarce. I personally haven't seen a single Enigma or CtA yet in all the Baal runs I've been to on East Ladder SC.

So if anyone could give me a rough idea of where the dueling community stands that would be great.

Yes mass sorcs with decent gear and some idiots who made like necros first with crap gear and complain about how you have no life because you MUST have mfed 24/7 to get a single good item.

Oh yeah and I'm on west but probably same on east, I saw a paladin with a hoto but other then that nothing really.

i'm not pk'ing yet, but i've seen 2 pallys with enigmas on west in baal games

That's somewhat discouraging. :rant:

I just saw a barb with an Eth BotD, 40ed/15ias jewel in his Arreat's, and a 40ed/+15 max in his Arkaine's. Looks like the high level runewords are coming back sooner than expected. Only 12 days into ladder so far.

Build a mageslayer, preferably lowish lvl kickers. Cheap, effective, and definelty fun.

Llvl 35 recommended for "Black."

I've had pretty extensive training with those in the last ladder season. Taliya if you played on East Ladder might ring a bell. However, I didn't find Black to be terribly useful except against people with much higher life to warrant the additional CB. Strength grants you a little less CB with a bit more damage due to the +str. You will want to go to 34 for Guilaume's though. ;)

Well ladder pubs on east havnt improved, they are a little hard to find but when you do it's a bunch of sorcs, other casters, poorly put together melee. I've been killing 95% of people just by teleing on them with my merc (bone hew, shaft, tals helm)

i got enigma 3-4 days ago
didt bot or nothing but mfed so much my azz is soure! :yawn:
like 18 houres aday lol
payed ber+ 3x ist +soj + anacarchid+ 5/5 light juwel+skullders something like that, good deal if u ask me :innocent:
but im already tired of ladder so selling that + lots more for nl itams/charms

Best ive seen so far is my friends barb with 390 Botd CB, 1290 dusk nigma, and so forth. Alot of hoto's are surfacing now its not too uncommon.

The good 3 OS armor's are more rare than the rune's you need to put in them. HOTO is easy to make, because everyone picks flail's. Soon enough you'll see the new runeword's popping up. 90% of them will be useless and the other 10% will completely dominate the current runewords.

Out of all the high runes...I had to find the crappy one. Oh well, maybe I can find another and cube up to something nice.

I'm about || to enigma right now. I think high runewords will be pretty common soon although definitely not as cheap as they were before. Either people are duping in private and slowly releasing the runes in public, or they just drop alot more than people think. Personally my two highest rune drops for season 2 are sur and gul(not from hf).

I still prowl the NL ladder games with Taliya, but there are much less LLD games up on NL compared to L so I've gone back to Ladder for the new season. I'm not too hot about the 290 economy on NL either along with all the other dupes, etc.

Hope to see you around Ladder Season 2.

I had the coolest thing ive ever seen happen last night on hell Hellforge.

I killed Hephisto and this unique urdar and it dropped an ist, did hellforge and it dropped an ist. Well not really that big of a deal but pretty cool for me lol.

i found a vex WAY back in the first ladder season of xpac But thats long past history now. I just hope they make some more practicle runewords. i want to see some cool new stuff added.

Haha, a good 3 socket armor harder to find than Jah or Ber? What armor is that please tell me. Seriously I can't see any runewords that will dominate the current runewords. The day we see a runeword that puts BOTD to shame will be the day Diablo is seriously a game that is not worth playing anymore. And in the mean time, why don't you show me your rare sword with the 4 prefixes that puts BOTD to shame?
