PoisonMancer Survival....

In general, from people who have tried, how do poisonmancers survive in hell, and just in general later in the game?
Is it better to use the 50 points after synergies in bone armor/wall/prison, or put 20 in resist down?

psn necros do reasonably well in later hell. Providing it's not a 8 players game. There are some areas that will be tough such as durance and chaos santuary where the undeads and venom lords are impervious to poison. That's where ce or ur merc comes to help.

never put more than one point into lower resist. The return diminishes rapidly as u go higher lvls. Put points where u can boost ur bone armor. Max wall first and then prison if ur not using marrow bug. Add bone armor last cuz it only gives you 10 points instead of the 15 from synergies

Chaos sanctuary has no poison immunes and is a great place to lvl a nova necro up to lvl 93, by doing it solo in 8 player games. I found that it only took my necro 10 minutes max to run through chaos sanctuary and kill everythin without troubles, in a single player game.

I swear, that is one of the hardest areas of the game simply because of how many immunes there are! :lol:

Uh, I found Chaos Sanctuary one of the easiest late-areas of the game. My primary spell was Attract. I would simply Attract stuff to make a large group, let my merc kill one, spam Amp Damage, and then clear the place with CE. Very helpful. :)

No seriously, there are no poison immunes in the chaos sanctuary... maybe on the way to it (river of flame) but in the actual sanctuary there are: fire immunes, cold immunes, and lightning immunes. No poison immunes.

if you were smart enough to read what i wrote, you would see that i wasnt asking so much about the build, but more about..... wait for it.... see the title of the thread.... poisonmancer survivability, and how people who have built them liked them and thought they would do in hell. Poison Mancer's survive easily in hell if you ask me. With the right gear, you'll be unstoppable.

If you read the guides, you'd see that as well.

Might I mention a summon / poison hybrid? I made a guide on one, and it's one of the best builds I've ever made.

i dont think you are a jerk, we all get pissed off about the stupidity of people on these boards. i have noticed a lot of the same things you have. i guess i just feel like i am working to not make stupid *** posts so i was wondering why you reacted like that. its all good in the hood. i am going to go look for the guide.
