Meph or Pindle

which is a more beneficial run? lets say the difficulty is normal.

what are the levels of each boss? which boss has a better drop rate and drops better items?

I don't know their levels, but here's a breakdown of it for you..

Normal: Pindle is useless. Do Mephisto to nab some normal sets and uniques.
Nightmare: Pindle is mostly useless. Do Mephisto to get some decent items, mostly exceptional items.
Hell: It's a tossup here. It's the neverending battle of quantity vs quality. Pindle can drop things Mephisto cannot. But on the other hand, Mephisto can drop Arachnid's Mesh, and Pindle cannot drop that item. Mephisto will drop good things consistantly if you have a decent mf %, but can't drop the rarest things, such as Windforce, Grandfather, Immortal King and Tal Rasha's Armor, etc. Pindle can drop those things, but he doesn't drop well all the time.

Actually in Nightmare I like doing Eldritch/Shenk/Pindle because it's a rather quick run and decent for EXP until you hit about 60-70, then go Eldritch/Shenk/Pindle/WSK or Eldritch/Shenk/WSK. Shenk just seems to drop oh so well for me. Last ladder, NM Shenk dropped me 2 Titans, a Dwarf Star which some leech stole, and a pile of nice random items (Infernal Torch, Sigons stuff, etc).

I've found an HoZ from nm pindle, nothing else from him so I started Shenking and got a few skill GC's. Meph is a lot better in NM than pindle, in my experiences anyway.

if you wanty more items do meph.... pindle can drop really good items but to do this its about quantity.... dont expect anything more then 1 good unique per 100 runs.... if you cant do hundreds of runs daily i woudlnt really bother with pindle as you will most liekly be dissapointed... thats why pidnle bot is popular

I would have devoted myself to pindle runs for my mfind if Meph's area wasn't so great along with meph. His durance level 3 dropped me a tal armor in the armor rack and the chest behind meph can drop decent things as well..i've found a good share of skill grand charms. The council unique dude in durance 3 also droped me things like Ormus, titan.

In NM I tend to do full MF runs (except WSK). I do them in this order (for no particular reason :lol: ) :

Andy
Eldritch
Shenk
Pindle
Meph

Admittedly, I find crap, but I've always seem to have had bad luck MFing. Once you get to Hell, Pit Runs are excellent and you can throw in Andy for good measure.

i would say definately meph over pindle especially at this stage of the ladder
later pindle might be more useful :)
