if possible, how would i reroll a grand charm so that i could improve my chances of getting more bonuses? 6 perfect skulls and the gc in horadric cube?

make sure you use grand charms found in areas where the stats which you are looking for drop.

what do you mean? can you explain that a little more thoroughly?

someone told me that they had a gc and they rerolled their stats and got a gheeds fortune and that is what i am looking for. where would be the ideal place to reroll the stats? and where would i reroll a gc looking for cold stats?

You probablly want a GC with +skill of some sort on it right?
well, the charm has to be a high enough level for the +skills to be on it. So make sure the Item Level of the charm is high enough, probablly grab it from somewhere in Hell.

what iguelmay is trying to say is that it doesnt matter what stats the charm currently has but where you acquired it from. for example a grand charm that gives +1 max damage and dropped from baal hell (area lvl -> item lvl = throne of destruction) has better potential to end up a high end skiller than a phenomenycally better (e.g. +100ar gc) charm obtainted from act2 hell for example. So practically collect all charms from baal runs even if they dont look great because these charms are most likely to reroll into good ones.

im fairly new to the game and im only in act 3 nm. im guessing the best place for me to find gc's are from meph runs?

and as iguelmay said, 'check the ilvl of the charms' but how do i find out what the charms' ilvl is?

what if i find my grand charms in cow level? what are the ilvls for those charms?

in case of charms ilvl = area lvl (if wrong correct me plz) so the best charms for reroll would be the ones from areal lvl 87 places like throne of destruction, the pit, ancient tunnels etc. Somewhere there is info on all alvl 87 places but I cant really find it now :)

i just rerolled a gc from throne of destruction and it was good. i used 2 p topaz and 1 p diamond and it gave me a cruddy +3 strength gc. i still dont understand. i guess its luck of the draw.

level 65 GC which had +3 max dam i rerolled and got level 62 +40 to life.
Level of charm has something to do with stats methinks. Yes, luck has lots to do with it cause there's a lot of mods out there :P

yeah but i had a pretty good gc and i rerolled and got a plain +3 str

Here's the best explanation.

1. Find a Grand Charm found in Act 3 Nightmare or after.
2. Put the charm and 3 of any Perfect Gems in the Horadric Cube, and transmute.
3. If you get one you like, congrats! If not, you can Re-Roll as many times as you wish.

You cannot roll it into the unique grand charm, Gheed's Fortune.
