View Full Version : Bonemancer First Maxed Skill: Bone Wall?

Greetings fellow Necromancers,
I am currently building a Bonemancer, and when I was figuring out my skill progression, I was trying to figure out which skill to max first. Looking over them all, I found my answer.
Bone Wall.
Now I can see all the confused looks on your faces already...but think about it. It adds more HP to your Bone Armor than leveling it with synergy. It adds damage to all the attack skills without raising the mana cost. And you can have it maxed by level 35 or so, leaving plenty of time to max out Spirit and Spear.
Thoughts? Ideas? Dirty Jokes?

i agree with all the benefits, but i don't think the synergy damage bonus is quite enough to make up for the damage you don't get from leveling up the individual attack skill first. that's why i level up spear OR spirit first (depending on what my main attack is going to be), then i level bone wall, then teeth, then the other attack, which'll be secondary.

The first skill i max is bone prison why is that well...it dose everything that bone wall adds just it dosnt make a single bone, it makes a prison...(isnt that what it is named for) and is better for PvP.

i agree with that if you aren't using the marrowwalk bug, which was what i was sorta assuming when i gave my advice.

I tend to max spear first, since it's my favorite of the two attack spells, and then I do round-robin with wall/prison/spirit for the rest of the game really.
But I tend to be stuck playing solo a lot, and don't use the marrow bug so it makes sense for me to invest so heavily in the monster containment area.
