Since Tornado is physical damage would an amp damage wand help at all in pvp/pvm?

it would own in pvp and pvm..... but i dont think such a wand exsists

Ya bu the str req for an elemental druid might be a little high. Anyways does amp even work with tornado.

it lowers enemies pyhsical resistance by 100. Of course it works with tornado, no reason for it not to. Decrepify also lowers enemy physical resistance, but only by 50%, and it has a really low radius.

was not sure I knew it did physical damage but since its a "spell" i was not sure if it counted as an attack like a sword or bow etc. Cool to know in that case the best option might be something like a lacerator on the switch to get amp to cast on hitting.

my druid on us west ladder has like a great wyrms necro wand with 20 fcr, 90 mana, and 19 charges of lvl 2 amp.

You can always HEL it. Yes it works, but not with %chance to cast weapons as you posted later. It amplifies the damage but can't be triggered with any kind of spell except AD itself.
I have never seen a amp charge wand but its probable since I've seen just about every other curse on a wand.
It would help immensely in pvm. I used a merc with reapers toll with my windy and he tore up baal runs all by himself(full games) including the last wave. Whenever there is a necro using amp in the runs, everything just melts(12k nados hurt I guess). Decrep and amp also break those pesky phys imunities. They are still stone skin, but at least you do damage.
I highly recommend a reapers toll merc for lvling or mfing. It increases your killing speed by about 50% and provides another valuable tank in addition to your bear or wolves. The merc will also have HUGE life with oak and bo(if you have it). Mine had somthing like 7k life with oak and bo at lvl 91. Even iron maiden took 3 hits to kill himself. Of course, he was a defiance merc, so he didn't do much damage compared to his hit points, but still.
A amp damage wand would be fairly useful for pvp, although you would have to give up your cta on switch or a space in your inventory. Not to mention all the "BM BM BM BM NOOB" you would hear. Only a few chars should give a windy serious problems, and an amp damage wand won't fix those weaknesses. (bone necs, trappers, ww sins, other classes you can't hit well) Not worth the trouble if you ask me.
Even for pvm, repairing the charges would get annoying quickly. I would just get the reapers toll merc for any pvm activities and play without it in pvp.
