Finding Charms

i dont seem to remember if mf helps you find charms. i kinda remember that it DOES NOT help you find charms, like runes and gems. could somebody clear this up for me by just saying YES or NO because i do not need a full detailed response.

MF doesn't help you to find charms.

When a drop is rolled, first there is a roll that determines what kind of item will drop (with no connection to MF), and only then it is rolled for this item if it will be normal, magic, rare or unique (according to MF).
Since a charm can only be magical the second roll doesn't affect it, and the fact that's its a charm was rolled before MF was counted.

yeah mf would make u alot more likely to find a gheeds since its the only non-magic grand charm

how is gheeds fortune a non-magical charm? does better chance of finding magic items not count as being magical? i always thought it did. :scratch:
