Right now im lvl 80 and i can easily run though hell pits single player with ease. THe question i have is, is there any way to get your skeles to target a specific monster. In the pits my skeles just seem to keep attacking the fallens and not the shamans that raise them. Is there anyway to make my skeles attack the shaman?

Another question is, Is doing a single player hell baal run really hard? My guy is untwinked with the worst resist is the world. Is it doable with a lvl 80 might merc, 26 rs 26 sm 20 ce, lvl 8 attrac and lvl 5 dim vision?

this is just a theory of mine, but here it goes:
first you curse them with the skill attract, that will make every1 attack that specific monster, and when all are kicking his butt, you cast amp or decr or w/e you use. if this works, i'd say it's pretty great. if it doesn't, ah well, sue me
anyway, if someone with greater knowledge about necromancers could verify this, i would be thrilled

use attract on the shaman. it works for me at least...

nay you can do hell baal with relative ease, you just need more +skill items to boost your maries of undead, more pts in Amp for faster killing and DV for those pesky dark souls..1 pts in revives and let item to boost the skill.
revives are good as bonus attacking forces, revive dark souls and those demons or serpents are really good.

Hey, just corpse explode/raise skellie/revive the flayers/fallen and your whole army will soon find their way to the shamen :D

Anyways, If you can get some good lightning resist, and some absorb you'd be pretty safe on baal runs, but seeing how quick my guy (87 boner) dies to gloams/wisps I would be VERY cautious. Sometimes a piercing gloam attack a target so that the bolt goes towards you, and aaarrrgh... :cheesy:

One thing you should keep in mind is that your skeles try to stay near you. What I do is run -past- the shaman. When each skele has finished with their respective fallen the'll make their way towards you (and the shaman).

It's simple, I know. But it's been working for me for 4 years now. I keep hearing the attract thing works, I need to try it. I notice that my summons tend to gang up on the monster that I amp too. That might just be my imagination.

You definitely need a few more +skills. Att 26 you have 10 skells but at 27 you get 11 skells. In the late 20s and early 30s (SLvl) your skells get alot more powerful.

Very simple solution:
Dim Vision the Shaman.
A blind Shaman can't revive his minions.
So eventually, your skels will deal with the shaman.
