Rabies Druid: Max Block or Big Hammer?

This seems to be the huge unanswered question about rabies druids. Is the +5 from Plaguebearer worth it? Should I go for max block, or should I just have a Sigon's and a Plague on switch for infecting people? Since I have to put 73 dex in for the Plaguebearer, I'm really considering going up to max block and using SS or Lidless. It'll also give you one more poison facet.

Plan B is to use a 6-socket Thunder Maul with 6 poison facets...my backup skill is Fury.

drop plan B, that would be the worst idea ever. Have you any idea on how slow a none ias t-maul is? you wouldn't hit anything with it.
Best choice is: 110 ias Pb+ss and on the switch you use Death's web+4 poison facet monarch, you bite with phase and then you switch to death's and monarch. with good stats on both, their res should be very low unless they've stacked up on poison res, wich is very rare.
Run for your life and see them die or run into town, either way, you are the winner. or you could drop the phase and use some high ias high damage fury weapon, guess gris caddy could be good, or a ebotd ba if you can afford it.
Stay and fight vs townrunners or run away vs those that are to mighty for you and let the poison do the work, most pf the time it got the same result.
This is for pvp, since rabies is just good for pvp (if you ask me). Pvm is a hole different story

plague is too slow

a 6 facet pb or deaths web and 4 socketed shield would be ideal for a rabies bite switch

110ias pb..im not sure most are fury hybrids so a nice c____oq or griz caddy is nice for a bite/fury combo

Plague with a shael isn't too slow. Plague with a poison facet is good for a switch.
