Hi All

On Monday, Team KTA (Kill Them All) started our 6th reincarnation. The team was ...

Magnus = Zerk Barb, KTA_WhosyourDaddy
Syxx = Summoner, KTA_Shaz
Aerath = LF zon (hybrid?), KTA_Brunhyld
probowl = Coldsorc, KTA_ShardsofIce
Lusse = Conviction Pally, KTA_Ignoramo
det = Wind Druid, KTA_Sturmrufer

2 other applicants never showed up, so we played as a 6 member team. We are an untwinked team of relatively common and effective builds. Even though or gear is garbage, our characters complement each other, and with some good teamwork the mosters never had much of a chance.

All WP's were found, all quests were completed in Act 1 with relative ease. A couple of LE bosses required a little care, but I don't think anyone went under half life during the evening.

Tonight we start Act 2 with our characters around level 17.

Vectom, an ex KTA'er would like to join in. Excellent mate, we'd love to have you in the team. As for a Meteor Sorc, that fits in perfectly with our team, as right now we have no Fire damage dealing character. Our other Sorc is Cold, and we have a Lightening Fury Zon ... or we will have when they reach level 30. If you can get toward level 17 by tonight, that would be nice, otherwise the team will power you through Act 1 before we start adventuring in Act 2.

That leaves 1 space in KTA 6.0 .... any takers ? If you are interested, then apply here .... or meet in Channel KTA at 19.30 CET tonight on HardCore Europe. We play Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Aye, great fun it was. My in law wont be able to join us since he cant make it on time (he works evening most of the time). Hopefully the last spot will be taken by someone active :)

I wont be playing much besides the KTA sessions, the death of my sin kind of killed the urge to exp and now I just want to Venture along with you lads. I'll be joining late again today since i work late (again, this is the only week I work late for the rest of the year)

Hi,

No problem with arriving late Lusse, any quests you miss we'll quickly redo when you arrive. Any WP's you don't have, we'll give you.

Vectom, take it carefully if you are playing as a solo Sorc. They are weak in the beginning and soloing can be dangerous if you rush. The team can easily bring you up to speed before we start Act 2.

I have a new account *Syxx-KTA so if you like, I'll be home from 16.00 CET and can help you catch up. Let me know if you want some help and what time you'll be online, otherwise I probably won't be online til 19.30 CET.

Okee..let me chip in my 2 cents here then, as I tried to contact you Sýxx and Magnus via PM, but your folder is full.

I wanted to have everybody elses input on Vectom joining, before I say something, but case is decided now, so I add my own:

Now I add what is also on my mind: "Vectom, please don't throw stunts like you have in KTA 2.0 and 3.0". Maybe everyone else has forgotten that you basically left those teams in the middle of questing, rendering us short of an important player. Whatever happened on KTA 2.0 is forgiven and forgotten, on KTA 3.0 you left us when your buddy died (we relly lost 2 ppl that day). I just hope your days on East let you reconsider your attitude on teamplay and you won't be quitting again.

Please don't take this as a flame. This has been on my mind since yesterday, and I would like to speak this out and have it discussed if necessary (meaning a response from you, Vectom, is very appreciated).

Don't missunderstand me, I am really glad if we can fill up the last spot with a powerful meteorb sorc and I am glad she is played by an experienced player like you. I just want you to be as fair to KTA as we have been to you. You said you will move in August. I don't wanna be left agin in hell with one important key player missing. Please make sure you are there for us in hell.

EDIT: About the missing spot - Lusse, you said you would bring somebody in with you, with either a Fana Pally or a sin?

In KTA 2.0 I just didn’t feel comfortable to stay in the team with the situations we had. It was mostly because of you det, since you were like the only person which took my actions quite personally. I did understand this; you were/are something like a spiritual leader of KTA and care(d) a lot about all the stuff around. That’s why I left.

I deserted KTA 3.0 for many reasons. Mainly because the friend of mine died and we both didn’t have much time apart from the standard KTA evenings – no time for rebuilding. Than we were rushing too much – I still remember who controlled the sorc constantly being in the front row – which all resulted in party splitting. Nevermind.

I don’t and I absolutely understand det. Though, I think we’ve been through this too many times already and I’d appreciate if we could close this case. The reason I want to join KTA is to have fun with a good team as I always had.

I will just move back to CZE after my work here in GB is done. What means I’d be able to play even more than usual, so no worries here. I won’t leave my precious team mates :-)

im sorry i couldnt join my internet has been down for the last 5 days and have only managed to get it working about an hour ago...i would have liked to join in but if you already have some1 else then thats fine with me

Exactly what I was looking for in my post in the previous thread. What do you say guys? Tool_master explained why he didn't show up.

Even if you could have given us a hint from an internet café, work, a friend or something I think the last spot should be open to you if you want it, since you were the first one to apply previously.

If you want to join us, please respond as soon as possible as we have another guy waiting in line in this thread!

What do the rest of you guys think?

Whats up with you guys?

We are in act 3 now around lv 20-22. Sad event of the evening was our Cold sorc biting it when meleeing Rada. That guy got me down to 1 HP with his breath when we killed him the second time..man, he really is bad news.

Pro, I really hope you check back and we can discuss a rebuild. We are now left without FO, as Vectom plays a Meteor sorc. Catching up can be done over the WE... :)

I finally figured out thet Dev is the Team Deviant, and that you are of course in an entirely different realm.

Well, apart from the death of one member, thinks went pretty smoothly, though I had a very embarrassing moment. A friend of mine who also plays LOD was watching while I was playing and we had a couple of beers. He told me how one day, Coldworm killed him with his poison explosion on death. I said how n00b that was, since nobody dies from that :lol:

Fate shoved those words almost back into my throat when we went to kill Radament a second time for the guys arriving late. he breathed his green cloud on me and my life went down FAST. Even potions could not stop it, so I put up a panicked TP. Had I misclicked on the portal I would have surely died, as I arrived in town with exactly 1 HP.

Maggots Lair however was as bad as always and we al wanted to pay Blizzards designer a visit with club. Man...it sure has a dungeon feeling, but make it so that at least 2 ppl can walk abreast there :rant:

Act 3 on Monday...and since we usually allow rebuild until deep in NM (I rebuild a lv 65 WB once over the weekend), we would still be able to welcome two players on board - and I strongly hope pro is one of them.

Hello guys, I enjoyed yesterday a lot. I almost forgot how it is to play with a good party.

That pro’s death is a pity though I think he’ll rebuild fast. If you need help pro, just whisp *Vectom.

I’d like to ask you guys if we could set the max. lvl for Monday to 23/24, so I can exp my def merc so he’ll be able to kill and get exp in act3. We all know that lvl 11-22 is a hell to exp merc through…

Sooner or later we need to decide if we just want to breeze onto NM or rather do Baalruns for items. Are you up for one or even two evenings just dedicated to running him? Or would you rather do this with NM Meph.

Normal Baal is pretty reliably in coughing up all pieces of Sigons :) But also low Exeptopnal uniques. Got the "Dark Clan Smasher" or whatever it is called from him...in KTA my Windy would have liked it.

I'm all for baalrunning a bit. We will definitely need some equipment before entering NM. I'd also suggest making some mf armor + helm after a4 forge and gambling for mf gloves + boots so we can always finish bosses with some mf on. We'll need to decide who will make the 'finisher' though.

Btw, I didn't get the answer for my question above. Yesterday, I was exping my merc a bit together with Syxx who's doing cows. He's already 17, so I think one lvl more and he's ready for a3. Though I will end on lvl 24 with my sorc so I suggest this again as a lvl cap for Monday's evening. Hoping others will exp their merces as well (if going for a1/a2/a3 normal ones).

Hi All,

ProBowl, it was really sad to see you get deeds last night. We talked about it afterwards, and came to the conclusion, it was more the teams fault than anything you did. We feel bad about that.

We had decided to leave Raddy, til the last 2 members joined the game. We said we'd just find him and put a TP.

Instead we started beating on the guy, gogo Probowl melee sorc, but when we realise he hadn't much life left, we backed off. Before you had a chance to react, you were facing Raddy alone with your low level untwinked sorc. No wonder you got deeds. Not your fault at all.

Bad team tactics and communication. Sorry about that. We will gladly help you rebuild before next Mondays session.

We'd like you to get guardianship with us.

Yep still playing - but time down to about 4 hrs/week. Also finding sitting in any one place for very long 'cause bumpkin starts booting me black and blue!

I might stick my head in and say hi to everyone on Monday - but keep the good work up and at least I can read about KTA even if I can no longer take an active part.

Question... I managed to shop me a Stong Bone Shield of Deflecting :drool: whilst leveling the Merc a bit... (got her to level 11 now... *sigh*)

Am I allowed to keep using it ? Or will I have to stick to the Clegclaw's Shield I had ?

Of course you can keep using it. Shopping/gambling for new equipment is part and parcel of the untwinked experience.

Obviously you can only shop for the equipment with your KTA char though.

Our long way just got a lot shorter as we managed to blast through all areas of act 3, get all WPs in 75 minutes then did the same for act 4 (lot faster) and even got 5 HF quest drops.

Currently 6 members, but rumour has it, probowl is rebuilding. Will you be there on wednesday, man?

Level for Wednesday: 28-29ish....Lets waste Baal, then milk him for items :)
