Hi all, i got a new router the day of the reset and since then, i've been lagging out of games now and then. i just wanted to know if anyone else is having connectivity issues.

As far as I can tell, there hasn't been any issues with my connection (ping popping along at 48  ). If it continues, call your provider, and see if they can fix it for you. The same thing happened to me when I got a new router, and it turned out that wireing was all messed up.

I have been dropping frequently and this has never been an issue for me before. The people I play with have told me that I just go "poof" so it hasn't been a hazard yet, I wind up in the lobby most times though occasionally I need to restart diablo..... dunno if this is helpful, it is just my experience so far.

Same here i keep dropping way more then usual....
I think its from the amount of players that are playing again...with reset more ppl have logged on and play longer then b4 reset.

^ That's almost exactly what happens to me, but only on hardcore...
Every 15-20 minutes it says "Connection has been interrupted" and kicks me back to the lobby. It drops me from the game immediately so it's not that bad, just extremely annoying. Oh and it only started about a month ago.

The only different thing that has happened to me is that I get dropped each time I move on to a new act. Connectivity has not been a problem other than that.

thanks for the info.
when i get dropped, it boots me completely. when i try to log back on it says, your cd is currently being used by <me>...only one user..bla bla.... it takes about 20 seconds or so before it lets me log back on.Not a big deal as long as i'm not in a mess when it happens since bnet says i'm still in the game after i've dropped.
omg !!! that is exactly what is happening to me. exactly every 15 minutes i get connection interupted and drop to lobby. its sooo damn annoying, but if its happening to you all to i wonder if its bnet or my internet provider.

^ I said that because it's kind of weird that it happens to me only in hardcore, not in softcore...
ive only been dropped once,
but oncei was in a extremely laggy game, 3 ppl dropped, and i quit.
then the next game 2 ppl dropped, and that was it, it was fine after that.

Is your new router a wireless router?
I have heared that the older wireless routers can have problems like this (older can also be newly bought but old technique of course).
i keep getting dropped (after i save/exit a game), then booted to login in, doesn't pass "Accessing Accounts" and then gives me the useless error message. Then i can't login for a few hours. I also can't resolve http://www.battle.net so I think it's my ISP's fault somehow. Frustrating
i call it running man syndrome... every NPC or monster suddenly starts running in place for about 15 seconds followed by connection interrupted. usually when i see it i just exit immediately. ive been dealing with it since day 1 though because i have dialup. :thanks:
Has anyone noticed that the error message web address isn't a valid page on blizz's servers. (at least it didn't used to be).
Isn't this it?
