I play every quest and waypoint in order, so I go pretty slow. I also sometimes go back to level my merc if he needs it. I don't mind backtracking to help a friend catch up, it helps my merc level. But I'm not very good at rushing, and I still prefer to do quests and waypoints in order.
At the end of each difficulty I do Baal runs for awhile for MFing and XP. I usually also kill Baal (if I can) in every run. He drops the best loot. =P
I don't curse and don't like playing with people who do. If you use profanity, I squelch you. I don't want that junk on my screen when I'm playing. 'Hell' is a difficulty setting and an act, not to be used otherwise. Also, I'm much more friendly to people who type correctly (or at least attempt to), even in-game. 'can i have ur bo' makes me want to squelch you. D2 abbreviatons such as TP, WP, etc are totally fine.
I easily share loot with friendly people. For rare items I pick up, I'll easily hand them over in town, so long as I'm not going to use them myself of course. It's put to better use than selling to an NPC, that's for sure.
I collect Unique and Set items for my trade list so if you don't want to use them or trade them, I'll take them. If I pick one up that I'm only going to trade and you really want it, I'll give it to you in town.
When my stash fills up (usually with chipped-flawless gems and some runes), I mule, then continue playing. If my inventory fills up, I TP and do a town run, then continue. I also clear out my inventory just before an act boss.
I don't steal items and I'll gladly let you use my mule game to mule in as well; and if you let me use yours to mule in, I won't take your stuff.
My first character is going to be a M'avina's-using Bowazon. Then a Natalya's-using Trapsin. Then a Trang's-using Skellimancer. And so on. I'll play each character until they defeat Baal on Hell difficulty, and then do one successful Baal run a day with each before continuing my next character.
If you're interested in being friends, just type /friends add Thortok2000 on B.net and lemme know.
