I don't need to explain...

My name is Dauragon, I'm a Diablo II addict. I swore I'd stop playing but still, here I am waiting in a channel with friends to rush my way to the top like I did last time :(

Why would you seek this place, stranger? Are you a vulture come to loot the bodies of our fallen warriors?

I too am a diablo 2 addict. I woke up this morning at 6:00 to watch the ladder reset. Unfortunately both of my dial up ISPs were still sleeping and I could not get on for much longer than to see that ladder didn't reset.

You guys may have a D2 problem, but I don’t. I can quit anytime I want to. :uhhuh:

Thats the first sign of an addict. They are adamant they can quit at anytime...

I, too am a Diablo 2 Addict. Though I haven't played the game in about 4 months, I still thrive to play it. I thrive to use a Sorceress and a Necromancer one last time.

Nope. I am that strong willed.

Actually I had no time to goof off since I had to study for three exams. Forced withdrawal.

D2's awesome. It's gonna be my game until Half Life 2 and Guild Wars come out.
Cheers to the reset :drink:

It's funny to see how many of the same people post on these forums. Don't you guys ever throw in the towel?

This ladder reset wasn't as much fun for me as last, not sure why. But I'm still messing around a bit. :)

Sorry too busy playing Summoner Druid on ladder.., what was the point of this thread..? ;)

YogiRat

I'm not sure what this thread's point is either, but I just abandoned my lvl80 Bone-Summoner for a newmancer on ladder2. I deleted my old classic necro (Yogi_Rat), so I could give my new necro his name. Addicted? Nah....

You know I was thinking about making a guide about quiting D2... Anyone want me to pursue that? I finally did after 2 years.

That should be fun. Not that I need it, because I can quit anytime I want to. :uhhuh:

I had a force withdrawl as well, and I want my discs back.

I've been saying that I broke the discs, but what I really did was lend them to a friend and he has them locked up so I can't play it. He doesn't want me ruining my last summer at my hometown because of it.

I love him for it, while at the same time I hate him. :/

Meh whatever works, works. Breaking my exp disk was the thing that finalized my quiting, but I am going out to buy the exp disk again, cause I know that I can live without it, so I think I can control the urges. If not, its breaking again.

Don't break them, send them to me so I can have 2 machines running at once!

The only way i can take a Break (notice i said break not quit) is if i know that my characters arent ever going to expire and if i know they will always have the same items, lvl , stats.(in other words not hacked into). I am a diablo2 addict and proud  . I cant live without it, its like nicotine; once u get a good character rolling u cant ever stop. It will always be more then a addiction for me.

mr_mop

I meant don't break the discs.....

And yeah, once you get a new character rolling, you always find a nice new items that prompts you to make another new one. Your skelemancer finds a kuko so you make an enchantress, who then finds the last rune you need to make and enigma so you make a hammerdin who finds etc etc etc......

If only I could find that Ber to make my beast......
